I think they actually are heading in a positive direction and cannibalism is a good start. An air drop of butcher knives, charcoal and Weber grills would go a long way.

It’s an open border that see thousands cross daily back and forth. The 2 economies are joined at the hip. Construction, sugar cane, and a significant portion of the tourist industry all depend on Haitian workers. Haitians have fled PaP for the provinces. That is the unspoken migration occurring. The USG has some new policy Haitians refer to as “Biden” that allows legal immigration with a stateside sponsor. While there are boats being seen “Biden” has become the new pathway to a better future so people are pursuing it.
