Koch would be the biggest return of the three if he stayed at Iowa for four more years.
That’s what he said. Ben got the Hawkeye Hustle trophy, which he still has. Ben was MVP of the camp.

Maybe I assume too much, but being a legacy, maybe also the easiest sell?
He said he's had good conversations with Pryce, Cooper & Josh.

Hoping that Ben’s fondness of past players (JR Koch) somehow helps the Koch family make the correct decision.
Any players listening to this press conference had to be impressed.
But, will money be the deciding factor?

This guy is a winner. He’s got a handle on life and people. Combine that with his special connection to Iowa and I don’t think you could build a better hire from ground up.

And like someone else said, I’m not sure you could dream up a better Iowa men’s bball hire.
If he succeeds here he will be legendary.
It seems to me the most likely to return i order are...
- Koch - I think he's a kid that bleeds black and gold and will connect with BMC (not sure why I think but I do)
- Pryce - has grown to love IA, was great to hear that Payton was there and hugged BMC. Will help if there are no hard feelings on some of the idiot fans and any ill will he may have of Fran getting let go.
- Dix - Small chance but I think they're better with BMC and new energy than Fran (although I don't think that there is any hard feelings with Fran or him getting let go).
Today's students weren't even alive yet when Bruce was here. We be old goats.

I hope he can get the bodies to compete in the B1G. We just weren't strong and athletic enough this past season.
Our nonconference schedule might be too good based on what he said. Unfortunately, that was not a popular thing with the Iowa fan base.
Think he said it was his first camp. Around Storm Lake and he was in 4th or 5th grade
Was excited before listening and he did not disappoint! Others have hit the highlights and won't repeat. Nice start to what I hope is a long career!
My vote is that Iowa got exactly the right guy. I thought so before, and I'm only more sure of it after listening to him. No me-first guys on his teams. That seems non-negotiable with him. And I believe that Goetz is going to do the best she can to get him the resources for him to be successful. He hinted at it without being specific. I see much better days are right around the corner, no easing into it. Iowa teams are going to be a royal pain in the ass to play.

Think about this.....When KF took over for Hayden, Ben McCollum was in his senior year of high school. Now they're peers.
Challenge for the board: Find a photo of our last coach interacting with Hawkeye fans in a similar manner to the photos above.
Surely, sometime in the last 15 years it happened.
