Best Pizza in Iowa?

My Favs...in no particular order because I like them all...a lot!

Sioux City trilogy of El Fredos/Jerrys/Bob Rowes.

CR Area...Tomaso and Zoey's for sure, but I also really like Ruby's downtown. I guess I need to get to Need. I've never been a big Leonardos fan, but it is a cool place to take out of town friends. I also like Cappys for change of pace.

I liked Mabes, but I was a little disappointed after hearing it was the best pizza in Iowa, and I like all of the above better.

I like Pagliai's for old school pizza, I guess I need to go to W&P.

Mabes is good , so is Zoey's. But I would have to say Flat Pie Red Eye in Osage beats that.

Everyone in CR should try Need Pizza downtown. We are having a debate in the office over Tomasso's vs Need; Need is in the lead

I still like Zoey's over Need.

Needs and Tomasos (thin crust) are very good but Zoey's is top notch. Fyi - Harris pizza doesn't touch Zoey's

I never much liked any sort of hamburger on pizza, but WOW, Leonardo's bacon cheeseburger pizza is PHENOMENAL. We went out to eat last night and everyone unanimously voted it one of the best they've ever had. Do yourself a favor if in CR and get there!

Sioux City - El Fredo's and I'll throw in Bob Roe's too. I to think Jerry's is overrated. Good, but overrated. Rosie's in S Sioux City used to be very good.

CR/Marion - Can't go wrong with Tomaso's. As others have mentioned Need's is a good new place to go. I went in there not expecting much and came away impressed. Very good pizza.

Zoey's reminds me of Jerry's pizza in Sioux City. It's Okay.

The only place I've been to in Des Moines was Gusto's before the wife and I flew out on our honey moon. Very good pizza.

Leonardo's is another good place in CR

Pasquale's Pizza in Humboldt mostly because I can run and pick it up and it's still hot by the time I get home.

Wig and Pen for sure, either location but preferably IC.

Zipp's in Adair is very underrated though.

Because I don't make it to Iowa City as much as I'd like. Probably will head there in just under a month before the Iowa/Minnesota game
