Don't you suspect both had it all planned out before this hit the news. I think Beth might well have an agreement through their agent for Iowa's next head coach. You have to suspect Owen had a deal in place before he entered the portal. I think it a bit sad that Fran didn't announce his retirement and let us celebrate his time as a great Hawk not someone who had to be fired
