I think what got somewhat lost in all the action today is that Telford recorded the 100th win of his career with an opening round pin today, and I think that deserves some special recognition! He's done a lot of good things in his four years here and it's going to be tough to replace him. Let's hope he finishes off his career with both a B1G and a National title!

You're right. I didn't realize it in all the excitement. Congrats to Bobby on this milestone and for making the finals (despite a really boring match vs Medbery).

Good for Bobby. Really need him to take care of McMullan tomorrow! Will miss having Big Bob anchoring the lineup next year, for sure.

I'd guess #2 behind Gwiz.

No matter the outcome tomorrow, I feel like 2/3 at Nationals will be Bobby/McMullan, winner getting the 2 and loser getting the 3. So they'll be on the same side regardless

If he gets kicked in the face more than once Im going to lose it. Great kid and I am so happy he is doing so well. He came down and worked with our kids last year and stayed for about 30 minutes afterward and talked about fishing with the kids. Great man. Congrats on your 100 and finish the season a champion! Very impressive career no matter what.

I had to LOL at his match with Medberry. He just reached down and grabbed the ankle and Medberry fell over, looked funny as hell. I think he caught him totally by surprise that he could grab his ankle.

5 great years thank you big man, if not for that injury would have been 4x AA,congratulations on 100

At the Iowa HS tournament a kid got a point for being kicked in the face by his opponent.

Thanks for starting this, I totally forgot it was win #100.
We have been pretty spoiled to have a HWT come in and do so well so early. Good luck, BT and let's take it easy on Stoll next year.

Bobby has had a pretty nice run for sure. Ability to win it, but hasn't gotten over the hump yet. He should AA this year, and if he does, he would have most assuredly been a 4 time All-American without the injury during the tournament. Pretty good career for certain.

MacIntosh got a point from Schiller yesterday.

Telford's career (so far) is reminiscent of former Hawkeye Hwt John Bowlsby. Bowlsby was a 3x AA (3rd, 5th, 5th). He was out his sophmore year, his replacement finished 5th. Close but could not get to the top. Hopefully, Telford can finish his career out on top of the B10 and NCAAs. Good Luck Bobby!

Finding a good HWT is extremely difficult, and we're going to miss Bobby. Hopefully Stoll can come in and be a solid contributor right away

Had the same thought! Beautiful technique by Bobby on that takedown. Medbery never knew what hit him and was on his butt before he could even begin to react.
