My feeling also. What does fran see in him tonite.
Same player as years 1-4. Just can't get those 50footers to drop lately which, I suppose, makes him a waste of lineup space.

JBo was the reason Iowa won. That first half turnover by Joe T almost cost Iowa the game.

I thought JBO played solid. Scoring wasn’t there but managed the game and played pretty good D. He doesn’t have to score big points for Iowa to be successful. Manage. And play some D...

He did what he had to do tonight. Was great bringing the ball up the court and only forced one 3 really, when we were pretty clearly trying to go two-for-one.
I would be much more concerned if he went into tonight wanting to take every shot and playing hero ball just to spite Wisconsin.

Face it! The guys gonna finish out his career as an Iowa Hawkeye, as a starter who plays a lot of minutes. He’s not the player of past but still brings enough to the game that appeals to the ‘Coach’
If you can’t see beyond scoring you’re not paying attention. Overall was solid in managing the game, and played good D. As said he doesn’t need to be a light up scorer for the Hawks to be successful
Iowa just needed a good ball handler tonight to draw a defender out of the paint for Garza. He doesn't commit travels or get trapped by double teams like Joe T does. And defenders can sink off Joe T because they know he can't shoot 3s. Bohannon doesn't need to score to be useful.
I swear this board is burning to the ground if JBo doesn’t light it up from 3. He has the green light to shoot from pretty much anywhere no matter how much time on the shot clock. Tonight the shots weren’t falling, but can’t we just be happy that we got the win and almost more importantly Davison lost.
Managed the game well. I think Fredrick’s presence alleviated pressure more but JBo did what was needed.
So much fun watching little lick play point again tonight! Didn’t bring much of anything all game.

I somewhat disagree, we do need him to score. With Connor and JBO both starters this team really can’t spare to have both scoring minimal points with the minutes they get. For this team to get far in the tournament I think we need JBO to average double digits.
We have a mix of clown trolls, complete idiots and rational fans. It's difficult to figure out the balance.
Iowa can win in a lot of different ways. Our best players carried us tonight, which is what needs to happen on good basketball teams. It’s nice knowing that Nunge, Bohannon, Fredrick, and Keegan can all drop 10+ in a given night

Connor had 2 assists and 3 turnovers. Joe had 1 assist and 1 turnover. I think Joe deserved more that 4 min
so you think solely because he didn’t turn the ball over that he was great? All of his assists are just because he has the ball a majority of the time. He dribbles the ball 2 feet inside the three point line picks up his dribble and turns around and tries to find someone open. When you play 36 minutes a game, have the ball in your hands a majority of the time, have great shooters and are one of the highest scoring teams in basketball, you should be able to have a few assists a game.

I thought JBo's D tonight was really good. Not that he was on Trice all game, but Trice was 3-15. And JBo had 5 assists and 0 TOs. Didn't score it well, but the rest of his game tonight was solid.
