Boyle leaving as a graduate transfer

Luck doing what? You realize the walk ons are not taking any spots from scholarship athletes. Do you really understand these are just paying students trying to earn a spot on the team? I don’t think you really get there is absolutely NO downside to walk ons.

Not to mention with a solid walk-on program you have guys that are telling themselves they need to go harder than the schollie guys every day, and schollie guys that should be working hard to not let that happen. Iron sharpens iron many ways. There are a handful of guys in this walk on class that might not "check 1 box" if you will for d1 offers, but we are getting them for free and it's one more avenue to build a good reputation. Use Timms as an example. I am no scout or LB guru but I do watch alot of these videos and that guy(on video) would have had several D1 offers if he was 2 inches taller. If that's what we are getting and a guy will come for free just for an oppurtunity that's solid.

Someone put @IowaNiceHawk on suicide alert. Pretty sure he wanted to do sex things to Boyle. According to him boyle is going to be a "MAJOR" contributor every year.

You hit the nail on the head Wasn’t drunk. As a walk-on I knew I could NEVER slack off or F-up. Thought I had to not only be AS good but BETTER than the scholly athlete I was playing behind. Guarantee these guys will push teammates in the weight room and practice field. If they don’t they won’t last long.

Someone explain how recruiting walkons like we are this year is building a great project? What a joke. Like fishing for minnows instead of bass.
Dude, really? You do realize that the great college programs also have great walk on programs? Right? Hello? LOL Let me give you some advice.......Cancel this profile and create a new one, cuz this one has dumbass written all over it. LOL Call it like a second chance opportunity. ;)

I’m with you scothawk. I was dumbfounded when I read it and couldn’t believe there are people this stupid out walking around. There is NO downside to taking quality walk ons ZERO NONE

Kudos to Boyle for earning his degree from the University of Iowa early. Now he will undoubtedly receive a scholarship for an advanced degree - smart kid. Does Yale need a dual-threat QB?
Very impressive that he could graduate in 3 years while participating in football, obviously a great student. I would have liked to see him get a shot at playing for the Hawks. Best Wishes to Ryan in the future.
