I think you are better off sending your kid to another country for education. Not a knock on the teachers but on the politics (both sides).
I don’t understand why people think political interest groups and government bureaucracies are the best way to provide education.
If we called it ‘single payer education’, would people look at it differently?
Should Medicaid patients be told they can only get services from county health departments? If they want private healthcare provider services not offered at the CHD, pay with their own money, right?
What is the distinction?

The adults in Chicago checked out long ago….the inmates are now running the asylum and they’ve never seen an unfunded program they didn’t like.
