Who's had the the rona lately?

Well….

I’d say it’s important to know if you have sicknesses / diseases such as the three above b/c there are particular courses of action to follow in response to having them..

Covid? Cough drops, rest, etc.. wait it out 🤷🏼‍♂️

LOL at your post here, Sir.
So you listed a particular course of action for what you should do for Covid.

People, Covid is naturally going to down grade.

Why are you even getting tested?

What would be the point?

For antibiotics which will make you more prone in the future? Hot pepper tea with garlic.

Some people hang their diagnosis on the door as a prize.

So yes, kinda dumb.

Most that die from common ailments including the cold have very compromised immune systems, instigated often by modern "medicine".
To know if you're highly contagious or not.

I got it because the manager kept coming in to work, hacking, complaining about illness and leaving for the day. 3 days in a row she did that. That's how I, and my household ended up with covid.

If you have the symptoms, take a home test, know, and if you're positive stay home from work and social functions.

They test for it so they can tell people they have it. Some sort of weird sympathy play.
I was sick last week but never crossed my mind to get tested. Wtf difference does it make if it's "covid" or one of some other million versions of a virus?
Yep. I’ve never been tested, never been jabbed.

Have I ever gotten ‘covid’? Who tf knows, who tf cares. If I’m sick with a fever I stay home.

You don’t need to know if you have Covid. That’s the point here.

Knowing changes absolutely nothing unless you believe you’re saving the community by wearing a face covering or by staying at least 6 feet away from other humans.

It doesn't change anything in you recovering, but knowing helps you prevent it.

Unless of course you're a dickhead and don't care about getting others sick.

So, if you have the typical flu or cold you aren't going to do standard things to prevent spreading it, unless you are a dickhead?

If you have flu symptoms you prob don't have covid, but you'll prob stay home from work right?

If you have cold symptoms that overlap with covid symptoms for more than a day, you should prob do a home test.

Again, how does knowing it help you prevent spreading it? If you're sick with symptoms of any viral illness you're spreading it by being around people. If you're coughing, sneezing and feverish but don't test positive for covid it doesn't change anything. You'll likely get people sick if you're around them. This isn't that complicated. The concept of spreading viruses didn't change with covid.

Had it last week. Wife too. First time for either of us. Mostly headache, couple days of fever and congestion and just general lack of energy. Just now starting to feel better.

Doc gave us both paxlovid. We felt like shit the first couple of days. Slowly better over the next few. Doc said once we went 72 hours without a fever we werent' contagious.

Because the test said it was covid.
Someone I know (who consumes lots of fringe media) said the tests will show positive for Covid even when its not (the home ones).

I'm not learned on that stuff, so I assume its false lol

Being sick with Covid and being sick with a cold is not the same thing. The symptoms I had were no typical cold syptoms.

If you know you have Covid you should not be going around people if you can prevent it. People going to work with Covid, going to children's birthdays, going out to the club with Covid, that can be prevented.

All I'm trying to say here is doing a home test and knowing you have covid is not dumb or a waste of time.

They got it backwards. You're much more likely to show a false negative than a false positive. The tests are looking for sars proteins. They're not going to show positive unless they are there, however you could have it and just not get a strong enough sars proteins reading.

No one is saying a test will cure you. But hopefully it will give people clarity to what their illnesses and how to act/prevent it when you are certain vs uncertain.
You’re right - Don’t wanna mess with Covid “uncertainty” 👍🏼👍🏼

I never test anymore but I’ve probably had it. I love seeing the people like Coors & Deangelo say “how dare you test?! I go out of my way to not test because I’m such a cool badass! Look at how cool I am!”

But again, if you should stay at home with any of them, what is the point other than getting antibiotics which likely will cause more harm than good?

My wife and I had it again. Fortunately not serious as we are older. I don't know if it makes a difference but I am O negative and she is O positive-she was miserable enough to miss a couple of days of work though they would have been at home. She gets sore throats, headaches and is exhausted. I just get a little tired with minor headaches so am lucky.

If you’re sick, you’re sick. Laying low is the answer.

You don’t need to know you have Covid in order for you to know it’s a good idea to lay low and take it easy until you feel better. Does that not make sense?

It does make sense. Just laughing at how much of a tool you are about it. And how you can’t seem to fathom that some people want to take the test so they know if they have it or not. Carry on like the star you are.

We were at a large wedding at the end of June and I felt great, the reception was a lot of fun. I woke up in the very early hours the next morning and felt like crap so went back to sleep and hoped I wasn't getting sick. Woke up again and had a high fever, bad headache, congested, and so tired I couldn't do anything but lay in bed. Finally in the late afternoon I went to urgent care and my temp was 102.9 and they did the test and said I had Covid. Doc highly recommended paxlovid so I did that. Stayed in bed all that night and the next day and on Tuesday I was able to work from home some, fever was gone. Still really tired. Wednesday was the day before the 4th of July so I worked from home but felt pretty good. That was the only time I have been sick with it (only way I knew I had it previously was from a blood donation test result).

May have had it in the past, but I've never tested positive for it,.. I don't test anymore either.

I tested because if I needed treatment it was better to find out early. I'm healthy, but also in the age demographic where most people die.
