Braylon Edwards suspended from Big Ten Network

This is a perfect example to point out to all the husker fans who just automatically think Frost will be their savior. Former qb who had success coaching else where (except harbaugh lot more proven winner in college and pro) coming back to bring his school to the promise land. Nothing guaranteed no matter how much each fan base wants to assume it will be in Michigan and Nebraska.

I guess the only thing will be harbaugh will be given more time than any other coach just cause of who he is and affiliation with the school. But game vs Sparty lose that and fans will be even more restless. I’ll just assume Osu will destroy them again to end the year.

Frost isn’t on the spectrum. So comparison doesn’t matter much.

I am not a fan of twitter but I don't think people should be fired or suspended for it. unless cussing or not real news or something.
If you're not gonna say something on the air, then don't say it on twitter.
I doubt he's gonna go dogging a bunch of kids and teams while he's on air....

They haven't been for some time, they just get more hype.
Here is one poster that gets it. This is one of my biggest frustrations with kf. Never living up to expectations, hype or unprecedented support

One thing about Harbaugh's recruiting prowess... it's not good lately in the state of Michigan. The last two class 2018 and 2019, Michigan is being kicked around from Wisconsin, MSU, and Kentucky for the in state FB talent. Sure, Michigan is a blue blood program and they can recruit nationally but when the kids in your back yards are wear the maize and blue with pride, other programs have chance to get some recognition and possibly poach a star or two. Cannot wait for Iowa to land another Desmond King.

I was saying when Michigan hired harbaugh 4 years seemed lot like this summer with Nebraska but even worse then with espn 24/7 coverage of him and everyone acting like no way harbaugh doesn’t succeed and “ressurect” the once storied program. Same thing we are hearing now with frost. Expecting conference titles playing for national title and harbaugh hasn’t even won division title and struggled against rivals and ranked teams.

Totally friggin agreed. Harb’s holds this ‘qb guru’ monacher for awhile now but what has he really done with any QB he has coached? Honestly. Give me some ‘solid’ examples.

His idea of being a guru is taking QB's he has worked with for a couple years and have them watch on the sideline as a grad transfer takes the starting position.

Anybody that follows Michigan at all knows that the OL is the HUGE issue and has been for a few years now. If it's not corrected in the very near future, the QBs are going to get KILLED. Don't even want to think of Michigan's OL going up against the OSU DL right now. There's time to correct it but it better get done or it could be a long season.

Seems as thou for the last decade or so Michigan’s OL has not only had a HUGE issue but in particular with Iowa’s D! I don’t recall the last time a Michigan QB has played Iowa and not been removed from the game hurt.. Iowa routinely punishes u of m QB’s and OL.. I guess we’ll just keep that a secret...... looking at Nebraska too... Their fans should just keep Iowa’s name out of their mouth..

Well I’m one that is glad the hype train on Harbaugh is crashing down. Since Iowa ruined his 2016 season his coaching record is 9-9.. and last year the only team the beat with a winning record was purdue
And Purdue did not have a winning regular season record, they were 6-6 until their bowl win

Bottom line re: Michigan: This program is woefully under performing given the talent on its roster. As for the Notre Dame loss .... ND is good but Michigan looked horrible.

Braylon has been fairly complimentary of Iowa on the BTN.
Given his past statements and coverage of Iowa, he's simply, asking among the 14 B1G teams, is this who Michigan is on-par with.
But right after he shared how sh**ty Michigan was and how he is sorry that he won’t accept sub-par performance?

That’s one way to look at it.

He’s basically saying Iowa is a second tier team (which they are) and Michigan is not on par with: OSU, PSU, MSU, and Wisconsin (which is also true).

But even if he’s being honest, it’s still a backhanded compliment nonetheless, especially with Michigan’s recent successes (or lack there of) against Iowa.

Every one of those teams is second tier after Ohio State. Wisconsin is definitely not a tier above Iowa.

As much as I’d like to agree with this, I just can’t do it. MSU definitely belongs in the same tier as OSU and I’d say it’s fair to say PSU and Wisconsin do as well.

I’d like to know what you’re basing Iowa being in the same tier as Wisconsin too. In the last five seasons, Iowa has finished in the top 25 once, which was a top ten finish. In the same time, Wisconsin has finished in the top 25 all five times, with two of those being in the top ten.

Tier 1 - Michigan, OSU, and PSU because of TRADITION

Tier 2 - MSU, Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska

Too many people are prematurely counting Michigan out after one loss. I would not be surprised to see them run the table. I still believe they have the best DL in the country.

Ohio State is in a tier by themselves currently. The talent they have is insane. Nobody is there with them right now in this conference.

Maybe, but they have a habit of stubbing their toes once a year when they shouldn't (Iowa last year). Agree they have insane talent but talent doesn't guarantee wins. For that matter, it's almost impossible for any CF team to go undefeated - including Bama. Just look at the final records of the most recent national champions - all 1 loss teams. OSU will get taken down again this year and my prediction is by Michigan.

I don’t disagree. Anything can happen week to week.

Wolv1972. You joined Rivals on Monday???

What are your other handles?

This is comedy. There's about a 5% chance michigan beats osu this year. Harbaugh is absolute garbage against good teams, especially against urbs. This year is more of the same.

Never posted before. 15 to 20 year lurker. I go back to the Woody/Bo days and put a lot of emphasis on tradition. Michigan will be back and under Jim. Big mistake to count them out after only one game. Wouldn't be surprised at all to see the Wolverines run the table. They definitely have the talent and coaching to do it.
