Never posted before. 15 to 20 year lurker. I go back to the Woody/Bo days and put a lot of emphasis on tradition. Michigan will be back and under Jim. Big mistake to count them out after only one game. Wouldn't be surprised at all to see the Wolverines run the table. They definitely have the talent and coaching to do it.

WI is a higher tier than Iowa. To deny it is to deny reality.

If Iowa can win 9+ games the next 3 years and win beat WI 2 of the next 3 years then we can argue otherwise.

It looks like there are a lot of Iowa fans basing their tier system off of one week. Basically starting in the 2018 season.

My tier system goes back to the five or so years. With that, there’s absolutely no logical way you can claim that Iowa is in the same tier as Wisconsin. As much as that pains me to type. I’d be fooling myself to see it any other way.

If Iowa was to beat Wisconsin it would be viewed probably as an upset. But not a holy shit what happened to Wisconsin. Because of that they are not in a higher tier then Iowa is.

If Iowa beat OSU, MSU, or PSU it would be an upset too, but not a “holy shit” upset (as long as the score was close).

Does that mean OSU, MSU, and PSU are in the same tier as Iowa?

If Iowa loses to Iowa St. Saturday I don't believe anyone will say "holy shit" when looking at the score given our recent history with them.
