That is how I see it except Garrett has loss a few in his career and Kaid is undefeated. Give the nod to Kaid for1 Garrett
2 Brock
3 Brewer
4 Clark
As you can see Clark slides down the rankings with every Brewer loss.
Wasn't a pin
Yes it was, you also said the Chris Perry and Mike Evans was one so what do you know! You don't know what one looks like.Wasn't a pin
I'm sure Brock is going to be a fine wrestler. Most high ranked recruits are. Brewer got real aggressive and paid the price when Brock did too, with a nice inside trip counter. He didn't panic. I like that. But he'll be the one worrying about staying off his back against Clark.....................Kaid is gonna be a good one. I wouldn't hand him any points at NCAAs yet though. We can go through all the hypotheticals but reality is March is a very very long ways away and injuries/health/motivation/guys becoming really good/upsets can and will happen.
Unfortunately, the problem is that Clark is unlikely to meet Garrett, unless they wrestle at National Duals. As noted above, Clark could go undefeated and still get the #2 seed behind and undefeated Garrett. However, if Brewer proves not to be as formidable an opponent this year as last, it won't matter as much that he got the #2 seed, and with a couple more losses, Brewer may fall to the #4 and end up wrestling Garrett at #1, anyway. Hopefully, Cory takes care of Brewer at Midlands on his way to a national title, regardless of where anyone else is seeded.
There were so many "WTF" seeds last season that I wouldn't even try to predict seeds in December.I didn't think they factored last year's results in so just because Garrett beat the reigning NCAA champ doesn't make him front runner for #1 does it? If Clark wins the Midlands and Big Ten's, he has a great case for the #1 seed. Personally I think 133 is stronger at the Midlands than the SS, and Big Tens are tougher than EIWA's.
Garrett's best wins: Brewer (OK), DiCamillo (VA), Martinez (Air Force), Giardo (Rutgers), Montoya (NEB)
SS: Conaway (PSU), DiCamillo, Beckman (Lehigh), Brancale (MINN), Martinez (Air Force), Bruno (MICH)
Remaining through duals and EIWA: Mason Beckman (Lehigh)
Clark's best wins: Hall (ISU), Giraldo (Rutgers)
Midlands: Brewer (OK), Richards (ILL), Montoya (NEB), Hall (ISU), Alber (UNI), Foys (Pitt)
Remaining through duals: Zane Richards (ILL), Montoya (NEB), Taylor (WISC)

Holy Cripes Batman! You guys are putting the Horse WAY before the cart in this discussion. We're not even through December and we're talking undefeated and seeding? Wow. I get it this is a message board, but this is just nuts. IMO of course.
I think I'll just let the season play out, which will most likely provide a shitload of surprises prior to March, like it always does.
Don't say that to the "34 and holding" crowd! No kidding!! That match was very similar to Gilman/Moisey. Brock came out like a ball of fire and tried to make something happen quickly and did. Good for him. If they wrestle 10 times I'm still betting on Brewer every time. I'll be surprised if Brewer doesn't thump him next time they wrestle (if they wrestle). One match does not make a resume. Helluva way to start a career but slow way down. There's also no way he goes from 0-0 and unranked to being ranked 2. Again, one match doesn't make a resume.
I see Kaid dropping into the 9 to 11 spot this week. What a way to start your college career. Has dreamed as a kid going to OSU and being the man at this weight. As of now he is living his dream!
Yes it was, you also said the Chris Perry and Mike Evans was one so what do you know! You don't know what one looks like.
It was certainly a pin. After they both hit the mat, during the scramble, had Brewer gotten a better push off, he would have been the one getting the pin. As it happened, one guy had a lot of adrenaline wrestling his first big match and one guy felt the pressure. Could have gone either way for a few seconds there, but hats off to the freshman for taking the reigning champ off his game. Too small a sample size to say much about where he will be at the end of the year, but SS will help fill in the blanks.....Wrestling, what a great #*%&'ing sport! LV, SS, Midlands, going to be some good ish!
I haven't seen Mike this pumped since... let's say since OSU won the National title.here is the who 42 sec match for your wrestling pleasure.
Wasd, nice hearing that you agreed with me about the cr#p posting, like the touch between you and #10 placeHawk posting. Our season was looking pretty down the tube a week ago and now watch out PSU (sorry, Iowa not legit yet )! Sorry I forgot what board I'm on. Watch out Iowa (sorry, PSU not legit yet)!why would you pull these red shirts when you are obviously the 4th place team.
Wouldn't put it past him one of the best beers around stay thirsty my friendTognetti, you sure are a colorful person. Is it possible that you are the most interesting man in the world? Do you drink Dos Exuis?
Either way, hats off to 2 guys who came to wrestle. That is exciting to watch and gives us all something to talk about. Those are the kind of matches that will grow the sport and the kind of matches people will pay to watch.

When it's beer, Dos Exuis guy, but I do love some moonshine when I can get it, after a few hours of drinking that you can add all the umbrella you want in my drink as long as the price doesn't go up! Trunk full of moonshine at Nationals if I drive to it, Looks like no moonshine in NY. I will have to get by with Margarita with tiny umbrellas if I hang out with any Iowa guys (hope I can get them in orange).Wouldn't put it past him one of the best beers around stay thirsty my friend
I had no idea what moonshine was till I went to college in Nebraska the people of the Midwest opened my eyes to drinkingWhen it's beer, Dos Exuis guy, but I do love some moonshine when I can get it, after a few hours of drinking that you can add all the umbrella you want in my drink as long as the price doesn't go up! Mitch, you said you wouldn't tell anybody if I wouldn't tell I saw you at Chucky Cheese dressed as a clown. Let the truth be known Mitch thought being a clown was better than being a manager at Oliver Garden. I agree with him that what ever your job is, be proud of it because it brings leftover Pizza home for the family. Proud of you Mitch, sure beat that previous job you had cleaning outhouses. On a side note... was at the Olive Garden in Waterloo some time ago... and you won't believe who the restaurant manager is... drum roll... Mike Tognetti!
If you invite him don't bring your grandma because Dunkej will be hitting on them, he's sure likes those mature women and he's a young guy. Dunkej is one of nicest guy you will find from the PSU board, I've meet him and have talked to him a few times trying to find out who Amalone is and where I can find him. Trail went dead, but it did lead me to Cael's Sanderson's house. Could they be the same guy?Ive attended Ok St and PSU parties at Nationals. Never been to an Iowa party but would go if invited ...cough cough . Let me tell those that dont know, Ok St people know how to party and even their mature women still like to have a good time. Its a leave your cell phones in your pocket kind of crowd.
Again I would attend an Iowa party in NY to compare, contrast and report my sincere findings
I was thinking Thunderbird .I figured Mike for Zima or wine coolers
if it's wine Mad dog 20/20I was thinking Thunderbird .
So... Mike... by "cleaning outhouses"... do you mean Gallagher Hall in Stilly?Mitch, you said you wouldn't tell anybody if I wouldn't tell I saw you at Chucky Cheese dressed as a clown.
