I hear her total compensation, including Nike is 1.1 Million a year. That's not too shabby at all. For being of that age, making more than the coach is funny.

Wow if true. I was wondering what a player of her caliber would bring on the NIL market and if she would shop herself around after this season. I imagine if it was a player of similar skillset on the guy's side they would be a hot commodity. With 2 years left to play, I wonder if Clark would consider it and how much it would take to get her to leave IC.......

shut your whore mouth!

I promise Caitlyn will not sell out and transfer…… she’d go pro first

I don’t think we need to worry about losing Caitlyn…… she’s the Jack Campbell of Iowa women’s basketball
Nah, she's gone after this year.

This roster isn't getting any better next year and Bluder is all-in on adopting the men's "no defense" philosophy, something that Clark is at the forefront of on the court.............

Iowa hit its ceiling two years ago when they got blown out in the Sweet 16 against UConn, and Clark knows that in the back of her mind at the very least. So why not get a year in at UConn or Notre Dame or Stanford or South Carolina or Louisville etc etc and not have to do as much on either side of the floor, rather than running herself ragged trying to drag this roster to another blowout loss if they can even avoid losing to another second tier try hard squad like Creighton before that..............

care to put a Hunnie on it? or more?

not usually but I’ve learned over the years people that run their mouths a lot usually shut up if there’s any risk of getting called on their bluff
And you thought that would work on me?...........

I have been thinking more/less the same thing next year

Would she go pro if she could make more money playing at a top-3 WBB program?

She's probably making more right now than most women's basketball players, even pro ones. I think Candice Parker is the only WBB players in the top 25 female athlete earners.

It's why there is no chance she will ever leave school early. She will likely never make as much money as she will through NIL at Iowa. If she becomes a national NIKE product, maybe.

It is paradoxical now that some collegiate athletes would actually leave money on the table playing pro sports, which are far more competitive and more injury prone. Bizzare.

In the current state of affairs nothing surprises me. In all likelihood, Iowa will be replacing four starters and the season expectations will be much lower.

There are many things to balance with this. She is a big fish in a small market, and draws a lot of attention because she plays for4 an offensive minded coach that lets her play her style. If she shops around she might actually end up in s system that makes her less marketable, but with a better chance of a title. The tradeoffs are hard to calculate.

You keep avoiding the questions…… guess we can all assume you’re just a mouth that doesn’t back up the shit he spews

I knew that already but nice of you to prove it
Now now I think we should address why you called Dewhawk a nasty name unprovoked. Let's not avoid that. ;)
