Iowa wants to keep tapping into that CC22 money
I would imagine the Fever will be getting a big chunk of the gate revenue.
I wonder if Iowa is allowed to host recruits for that event. That would be a pretty cool experience for prospects.

That's the pull C² has. What's amazing is the Fever could probably go to any other of their teammates' college arenas and sell it out too, given the draw Caitlin and that teammate would command.
Wish Cardozo was playing but she'll be back with her team, the Sky, as well I'd imagine.

Some of us were talking about this at the office. A long time Kinnick Society donor did not think he could get more than a couple of tickets when they are sold, even given his priority. Looks like for most people stubhub will be it. I wonder how much the tickets will go for...
I assumed if the Fever played a preseason game, it would have been in Des Moines. Love that it's back in Iowa City. While it's cool that we get to see the Brazilian national team, would have been better if they played the Valkyries with Martin or Aces with Gustafson
I had the same thought. It would have been even better if Kate or Megan could have been involved. The only problem with that plan is that there is no guarantee that either of them will still be with those teams in May.

Megan seems like more of a fringe WNBA player, but I assume Kate would be a safe bet since she's on an expansion team and was selected in an expansion draft
I thought Foo Fighters and Red Hot Chili Peppers were going to do a reunion tour from 1999!!!
Expansion teams often undergo a lot of roster tooling before they ever play their first game. They might have drafted her to use as a trade piece.
I wonder if Caitlin now has enough clout, and Kate has proven herself enough, so that if they trade for Kate the current Fever players would not resent her. Would not mind trading for both her and Temi. They can have Smith and Berger.
I’d love to see Kate join the Fever. I haven’t seen enough of Berger to have an opinion on her game.
Mostly I’d just like to see Smith gone. I was disappointed that they left Temi unprotected. I’ll be mystified if Smith is still on the roster in May.
