When the Senator had his wits, he backed Hatch’s call for the FBI to investigate Hill’s accusations. The FBI did, interviewing Thomas, Hill, and witnesses. Now he just sits up there like a doddering old man, which is a shame because he was a good man.

He'll make history in regards to his lack of ethics in regard to the Garland nomination hold up and then ramming Kavanaugh through in the face of serious accusations.

This would have to be the case. Grassley has no legal background. It would be like claiming that someone who has no experience in football is somehow your head coach.
He's done an outstanding job in this process, especially in view of the circus the Dems are orchestrating. The letter to DiFi lays it out so even demented anti-Trumpsters should be able to grasp the situation. But not without reading it.

Too bad he isn't kicking ass for Iowans while he is in DC. We have farmers that are getting some welfare because of tariffs and now some ethanol plants closing down all because of Trump and his ego yet Grassley still does Trumps bidding. Grassley is doing a good job of serving Grassley, but is doing very little for Iowa.
It's not my democratic party, but the republican party has sunk to depths unknown to America. Think about that if thinking is a possibility for you.
Not sure how many farmers you know but none that I know are very happy about having to take any of the 12billion in welfare the GOP provided them to help cover the fallout from Trumps tariffs. They didn't ask for it, but they might need it since I doubt they can feed their family on MAGA and patriotism.
