You're seeing manipulation of the human brain in action. What's awesome is bri-bri thinks he's the one with the clear vision in all this. The lord works in mysterious ways.
I definitely think atheism is false based on personal experience.
I know atheists think you have truth because you're really smart but I'm afraid you are mistaken.

He was arrested in 2022 following a joint investigation by Summerside police and the RCMP after the Diocese of Charlottetown reported the allegations.
A few hours after the sentencing, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Charlottetown issued a statement about the case. “I sincerely apologize to the victim and his family for the abuse, pain and harm that was perpetrated by Father Praught, and I offer my most earnest apology for the failures of the Church,” the statement quoted Bishop Joseph Dabrowski as saying. The statement noted that the diocese has had a sexual abuse response policy in place since 1992.

An Independence pastor is facing child molestation charges. Court documents state that multiple people under the age of 18 accused Virgil Marsh of sexually assaulting them between 2011 and 2018. Marsh, 71, is now in the Jackson County jail.
He was charged with two counts of first-degree of child molestation and first-degree statutory sodomy. A probable cause statement indicates that Marsh told police he was a current pastor in Independence and admitted he had “inappropriately touched” one of the victims.
He also told police he has asked for forgiveness with God and is no longer the man who “had previously done things to the victim,” the probable cause reads.

And not a single law being proposed to protect the children that will keep religious leaders away from them.
Shame.
How about more or less likely than trans or drag queens? Yet we see all the laws targeting those groups to “protect the children”Religious leaders are less likely to abuse children statistically than public school teachers are even though they get all the media coverage. Just FYI.
How about more or less likely than trans or drag queens?
It's hard to know for sure.
About 5-20% of men are sexual abusers of all types in every group. There aren't as many drag queens as pastors but I'd estimate drag queens have at least an equal abuse rate.

Glad to see you support my point that laws should be created to keep kids away from religious leaders….to protect the children
It actually sounds like the road republicans want to go down, if they sre creating laws to keep kids away from drag queens, no?Using that logic, laws should be created to keep kids away from public school teachers since 5-7% are sexual abusers.
Schools would then be outlawed.
No one cares what you say concerning this topic. This thread is to spotlight the current hypocritical conservative ideology concerning the LGBT community.Using that logic, laws should be created to keep kids away from public school teachers since 5-7% are sexual abusers.

Your data means squat. All of these “clergy” preach one thing, and then behind closed doors they do another. This is what the thread is about.I'm dropping data to give a more factual approach than @NoleATL gives.
READ the title and first post! Religious conservatives are hypocritically pushing laws against drag queens because they are allegedly the groomers parents need to worry about... where are the new laws against everyone else? Laws stopping them from being in the company of these people like they are doing for drag queens. I'm not saying only pastors, youth pastors etc are the only ones grooming and raping children. You are just too blinded by trying to defend the church... Please start posting links where DRAG QUEENS AND TRANS are arrested/convicted for grooming/molesting children.I'm dropping data to give a more factual approach than @NoleATL gives.

You have missed the point completely. I’m not surprised as you were told in the post above, start your own thread. It's not "all those clergy" doing that.
It's 5-10%.
Facts matter.

If you mean bashing the sick bastards who diddle little kids, then yes.I understand the point of this thread.
It's to bash clergy. I drop data but it won't convince. My job is to inform, not convince.
Carry on.
