Who knew that adding a two minute timeout rule would win Iowa State 2 extra games…
Take away playing Ohio State and the schedules were both extremely easy for Iowa and Iowa State. One took advantage of that and the other had Cade McNamara throwing into triple coverage while up 13 to 0 in the second half of a game they were dominating and then imploded after that play.

How does the Big 12 tiebreaker work? Assuming BYU wins there would be a 4-way tie for first. ASU is in the championship game against ISU, but if BYU loses then it would be Colorado vs ASU. It’s not a head-to-head thing.
So a Biig 12 team must hope a former Independent team beats a former AAC team in order to make it to the Big 12 title game to play another different former Pac 12 team.
Otherwise the Big 12 title game will actually comprise two former Pac 12 teams

They lost Texas and Oklahoma, it would be like the Big Ten losing Michigan and Ohio St. it would make it much easier for teams like Iowa to win the conference.
Just like Iowa will too. We had a cupcake schedule much like ISU and didn’t take advantage of it. We lost to bottom half of the league teams like MSU and UCLA. An MSU team that got boatraced at home today by Rutgers. A UCLA team that will finish the season 5 and 7.
Iowa still won 8 games without a QB and badly botched the Iowa state game…but that besides the point and plays in an actual conference

Nebraska…the team that beat down one of the big 12 teams tied for first? Let’s compare big 12 and big 10 playoff wins ten years from now, it won’t even be close just like it wasn’t even close with the four team playoff when you still had Oklahoma. Not to mention the BIg Ten picked up two teams with multiple playoff wins and NC appearances under a four team playoff format and got way stronger.

Except Iowa had to play actual powerhouse programs in almost all their champ games…Iowa State has to play a team that hadn’t even won the pac 12 in almost 20 years…and they lost their stud receiver today in a blowout. Horseshoe up their ass team that was begging to quit vs an average Iowa team in the first half and Kirk ****ed around per usual.

K State looked like a make a wish team. The two teams who might’ve represented the Big 12 tonight, Colorado(owned by Nebraska, Iowa State(Walk off field goal vs Iowa) that conference potentially getting first round bye is sad.
