Dude worked hard and improved throughout the year. Didn't get the result he wanted at Nationals but he deserves a thread of his own. Good on you Coop!

Coop improved trememndously throughout his 2 years here at Iowa! Glad to have called him one of our own and wish him best of luck moving forward in life, he has a great head on his shoulders, regardless of the outcome of this years nationals.
Darn right, I'll chime in. Thanks, Coop, for all of the work you put in to improve while at Iowa. It was a long road to get there, and you worked your tail off to be a Hawk. Once, a Hawk, always a Hawk, and best of luck in your future, young man! You're a better man for having been a Hawkeye, and you've learned lessons that will serve you well down the road.
There are Hawks with much more talent but few have the drive he has.
To see him ride Lewis out and come so close to beating Murphy at the B1G, I felt he could AA. Even his opener here was strong, but watching him get folded those last two matches is something I will delete from my memory of him. He was dead game and Tough too. I think he was still growing with every battle.
Indeed he does deserve a thread. I'm disappointed for him, not at him, as he simply got better and better throughout the season. I would've loved to see him AA, but although it didn't happen, onward and upward young man. I wish you lots of success in life.
Let's face it, Coop was a 49 wrestling up and he gave his all...I sincerely thought he was going to AA.
His best match of the year was the beating he put on Berger yesterday. He looked great. Yet, Berger is still wrestling. Maybe we should have took a dive.
Coop improved at the right time (anyone remember that awful Minny match?) Thank you for your time and effort, Edwin, you're a true Hawkeye.
That MN match was brutal, but after that match, he was lights out until his last 2 matches.
