Dang, I’m selfish in wanting him back but I really want what’s best for this great Hawkeye. If he declares for draft I will be cheering on his future.

I’ve always thought that’s his future and I think the coaches did too. Pretty sure the first game he ever started (SDSU) was at cash. Switched to corner after Roberts got hurt.

Reading the tea leaves and various interwebz and pod sources, he's really struggling with this one. Injury isn't helping and casting doubt on draft grade and early entrees are a key factor too.
Returning to a team and coach he loves, being from Iowa, getting a chance to not carry this team with a competent OC and a healthy Cade and maybe Lachey/Castro/Higgins along with cementing his Ring of Honor status, etc + NIL and insurance policies may be enough to get him to strongly consider coming back. Remember both Hock and Tyler's situations were different with no NIL in play...
