Costco to require customers wear masks

Weird, I never took you for a Karen. What's so "wow" about the notion that being in public places puts you in PUBLIC?
Because this is what you were responding to.

Soon after, there will be some other government scheme, like having to wear a visible ID that can be scanned.

So I took that to mean you are ok with the government tracking of individuals as they move about in public. That's the type of crap they do in China.

Hope they enforce social distancing and kick people out that are breaking it consistently and intentionally when it is possible to maintain the distance.

Oh and they may as well take the temp of everyone entering the store too and turn those away with a temperature above normal.

Oh, yeah. I'm 100% okay with that as well. Don't care about slippery slopes, et cetera. Fix the public health crisis, and in my opinion the ends justify the means.

Make me download an app with a color-coded QR code that I have to scan before I can enter a business and I'll head to the app store this afternoon.

Oh the irony.

It’s group paranoia over this season’s version of the flu that is causing people to don ridiculous looking masks that are useless against viruses.

As a hospitalist, I'll leave it that you're incredibly wrong. Rather than question the information available and the opinion of public health experts, perhaps you should question your poor understanding of the data and science.

What's a hospitalist?

I mosey around the wards, giving out essential oils and copper bracelets to the sick people.

....and here I thought it was all about handing out maps to local attractions, and greeting the guests as they arrived....;)

Been 2+ weeks since i went to buy anything and decided to swing by costco today. Most customers and all employees were masked. But main difference was there was no line outside and very few people (not negligible but much fewer than usual) inside. Not sure whether people are all stocked up or what that means.
