Good on him for not dying, I guess, but stuff like this is part of the reason why I don't think every human life is sacred. Likely scared the sh!t out of the person driving that implement, for no reason other than "for the boys".
And if he got decapitated that farmer is scarred for life.
Related, last week I was driving home from the office, and saw a car pass another car on the shoulder at a high rate of speed - not for any reason other than the cars in the three lanes of traffic weren't moving fast enough, so the driver needed to take it to the shoulder to pass all the cars at once, rather than slow down, waiting for an opening, etc. I definitely was hoping there was some piece of trash, or a pile of nails, or something to penalize that asshat for flying around some unsuspecting driver on the shoulder like that.
They call them 'organ donors' for a reason.
I don't know about that. I know a lot of farmers, and they can be fairly stoic and matter of fact. Hose it down and move on to your next field.

Not gonna lie, I have thought about that before when riding. Wouldn't actually do it for reasons mentioned, but definitely had a thought....
