He's an interesting case. He is one of those formerly moderate, thoughtful Republicans that took the red pill and went batshit.
I have done some freelance work for him in the past - nice enough guy - but he's all in on the Reynolds/Trump crazy train now - for power and prestige.
I didn't meet him until around his first time he ran and didn't get elected. I was really excited to vote against him that election.

It is impossible to predict what issues may arise over any politician's term. You want somebody who you believe has the judgement and wisdom to make good decisions as issues arise.
I don't think we are in the end times as has been misinterpreted by some readings of Revelation and promoted by some snake oil sales people. That being said, we are not in a good place and are heading down a scary road imo.

Has our country seen the level of corruption on display right now by the Trump admin in modern history? Almost certainly not.

I did not vote for either Trump or Harris but I agree with many of the observations you make.
Dems made a calculated decision on Harris and it went south after that.
You can blame some Democrats for their positions (even if unpopular) and antics all you want. That doesn’t change the fact Trump dugbhisnown hole with his behavior to be twice impeached. Had he not won election he just might be facing jail time. So convenient to look past all of his actions to include the criminal stuff to blame DEI or the dozen of trans trying to play sports.
Just look at things over the past few months… grocery prices are higher, as is gas. Stock market taking a dive… crypto in the toilet too. We are throwing allies in Europe under the bus and creating a trade war with two of our neighbors, one of which is our closest allies. Unemployment is up… and only going to get worse. Yet, Trump and his circle will blame the Ds or or simply say it doesn’t matter anymore cuz they are in power.
