Wondering if anyone knows why no offer from Iowa? Fairly highly rated wr with height and speed. He's been killing it in track this season. From same high school as Angerer. Just confused here. I think Iowa State is getting a good one if he sticks with them.

Not sure but my guess would be there could be many reasons why Iowa didn’t offer. Not an indictment on the kid just may not be a fit. Iowa isn’t a place for everyone so I wouldn’t read anything into it.

If I’d have to guess Iowa was waiting to see more production on the field before offering. He only had a dozen catches if I can remember correctly.

Sounds about right. He had 25 yards/catch and 11 yards/carry on an outstanding 4A team, but had only 10 receptions and 10 carries in 12 games without recording a single tackle. Returned one kick for 11 yards, but didn't seem to figure too prominently in the Bulldogs game plan as a junior. I'm not suggesting he's not a legitimate D1 prospect, but suspect a wait and see approach is not surprising at this time.

Absolutely. He committed to isu and could have said to Iowa don’t bother offering.

I could be 100% in the weeds here but I am of the belief the best relationship the staff has with any High school in the Nation is Bettendorf, IA. If the staff has passed they think they can get someone better or they dont like it. If he was a possibility with Iowas "build them up" mindset, he would have an offer by now.
