Dailey 3 pointer and crowd reaction

I would have estimated the crowd was about 75% Iowa fans. I was kinda surprised. Then when the 25% started leaving early, it looked like an Iowa home game......but in Illinois.

really? On TV all you could see was orange clad fans except behind Iowa bench and even there a lot of IL fans. Some Iowa fans behind basket and in corner near Iowa bench.

It showed Daily making his three in the corner. As he was running back on defense he looked back at some fans sitting in the front row and one of them stood up and flipped Daily off. You can't tell what was said.

Looked like "both" of those IL fans in weird blue color shirts flipped Daily the bird.

Why would IL fans wear that weird royal hued blue? They are Navy and Orange.

I went to a Kansas City Royals game against the Cardinals once, and sat in the outfield stands. Some KC "fans" were mercilessly berating Jon Jay, the Cardinals CF, presumably for the crime of being the closest one to them. I'm sure similar situations occur in about every game, in every stadium.

Nothing screams "jackass!" to me like the sight of someone verbal abusing someone else just because it's "fun".

Interestingly, Jay played half the year in KC last year.

Illinois players talked the most crap of any 12-20 team I’ve seen.

They complained about every call that didn't go their way too

Dailey hit a corner 3 pointer, then immediately turned around and gestured toward some orange clad buffoons sitting courtside.

I like it. Especially the "gesture".
