Ian Paice was a monster back in the day. Easily among the most impressive drummers in rock history.
And Jon Lord (may he rest in peace), the heaviest keyboard player ever. He gave Deep Purple their signature sound.
And then there's Ritchie Blackmore... one of the all-time greatest guitar gods. He's not part of the current lineup because he's "bored of hard rock" and has his medieval rock band with his insanely hot wife as the lead singer....
Now let's talk about DP's lead singer, Ian Gillan.
