Delta CEO on CBS regarding the FAA cuts

It's TJ'ing it up when you never rise up except to defend the numpties. You want to get your fur up about TJ'ing things up, join a DOGE thread and TJ up the morons claiming DOGE has saved eleventy trillion dollars so far, and explain to them how USAID wasn't laundering cocaine profits for the Clintons.
Otherwise, you are TJ'ing it up.

Fat, dumb and stupid is no way to go through life, Lucas.

Lol. I simply pointed out that the OP is literally a video of Gayle King interviewing Delta’s CEO on CBS Mornings. If that constitutes “TJing it up” then “TJing it up” isn’t nearly the insult you think it is.

King said what she said. The video wasn’t altered or edited or presented out of context. Hell, you can watch the exact same video on the CBS Mornings YouTube channel.

But rather than address what she clearly said, you chose instead pivot to Plan B and attack the source. It’s disappointing and frankly a little sad when you choose to be a simpleton.
We did address what she said. And it wasn’t what the OP claimed. Why aren’t you joining in calling out the OP?

To the extent that the source doesn’t matter, the source in this case lied. So it matters. It's not the video that is a lie. It's the commentary by the source that is a lie. Which is not surprising because it's a dishonest source. So it matters.

I’d argue a decades long industry veteran who works with the DOT/FAA on a daily basis is highly qualified.
I'd argue that you don't know what you're talking about.
CEO isn't spending a lot of time doing the "groundwork" w/ fed agencies.

Has to work on figuring out ways to screw customers over on excess fees and denying refunds.

Does the buck stop with someone besides the CEO?

Who at Delta hurt you? Where did they touch you? Sounds like you are biased because you had a bad flight experience. You therefore are disqualified from and not qualified for any discussion.

So, now we're shifting the narrative to "who is in charge"???
How is that shifting? It’s public knowledge. That’s why he gets to talk on behalf of his company (which you argued against). If he is not the one in charge and not where the buck stops then please enlighten us?

Also, you have demonstrated a clear trend of not answering questions so I will pose mine again:

Who at Delta hurt you? Where did they touch you? Sounds like you are biased because you had a bad flight experience.

It's not the point that was being discussed.

Last CEO of a F500 company I interacted with was oblivious to most of the day-to-day of any of the departments.
Complete idiot when it came to anything technical/R&D related.

That is what the VP of R&D was for (and the one at the time was very very good; I'd still be there if he hadn't left)

Oh....so now you are cool with using specious reasoning! Because one CEO out of 500 acted a certain way. Another CEO must act the same way. Generalize much Joe?

Also, please stop ducking the question: Who at Delta hurt you? Where did they touch you? Sounds like you are biased because you had a bad flight experience.

Bottom line and from Deltas CEO and someone clearly in a position to know:

Your narrative is not fact based. What we here call misinformation.

This certainly looks like surrendering the point.
No, it’s me calling out your bias. Bias is always relevant to the conversation. It influences your viewpoint that can distort reality. It is time you surrender yours.

I’ll ask again: Who at Delta hurt you? Where did they touch you? Sounds like you are biased because you had a bad flight experience.

You do realize that Biden passed & signed legislation to address this exact problem, right?
And your DOGE buddies are undermining/reversing it.
I do realize you can't read and you lie.

Old Joe was in office in May 2024 when CNN posted they were 3000 short.

Trump go back in time?

What's going on at the FAA

Did FAA Reject Air Traffic Controllers Based on Race? What We Know - Newsweek https://search.app/ncVrCwraGGBaqkMa9

The FAA's biographical assessment was a screening tool used to assess applicants' behaviors and experiences. The test involved multiple-choice questions on topics such as decision-making, handling pressure, and risk management.

Sounds like White Boi didn't do so well on the decision-making and pressure parts...

Now racial slurs. Don't change, keep losing.

Of course lost in all the pissing matches and attempts to point blame is this. The sky is not falling (bad metaphor perhaps). FAA statistics show that the number of incidents is not any higher than usual. In fact YTD it’s as low as any in recent years. The only blip is the number of fatalities in the DC accident. That was ugly.

Oh nothing done I see.
They hired the largest class of air traffic controllers in over a decade.

The cap on hiring is largely drawn ven by whether Congress will fund the positions.

https://www.faa.gov/newsroom/faa-hits-air-traffic-controller-hiring-goal

There are many more applicants than spots. Somewhere around 10% of applicants are accepted. It is possible that they need to accept larger classes to account for the washouts or maybe they need more training staff.

Wow.

Mere MONTHS after Biden passed legislation to promote it.

Yet, here is @doughuddl2, running interference for Elno and Orange Dude's efforts to "undo" all of it.

Simply confirms my position that ANYTHING Democrats do to improve this country, MAGAs will do the opposite, just because the Dems said it was "good".

doughuddl2 is yet another confirmation of this.
