Five guys is good, but they are expensive. I spent$20 on a burger, fries, and a shake.
LOL, you can get a steak dinner for close to that.
Think I'll pass.

Not that it matters, but I better add that it was a large fry, and double burger.LOL, you can get a steak dinner for close to that.

Didn't know Tacopocalypse did breakfast. Might have to try it but I've done lunch there twice with 2 different groups totaling around 15-18 people and not a single person thought it lived up to the hype.
Zombie burger? More of my friends/family like it than Tacopocalypse but still more than half (including myself) view it too as someplace that is overhyped/overrated. ZB seems to have an certain demographic following. Most people still in their 20s like it but most over 30 recognize it for what it really is.
Granted...these 2 places are convenient if you live in the East Village.
Gotta agree with H Prime. QT is IMO the best convenience store. Love Casey's pizza and I own Casey's stock but overall neither Casey's nor K&G can come close to QT.

Is there a hole I don't know about for that?Would you like some day old donuts with your beer and smokes? How about a brat with your bananas and orange juice?
F that place.

WaWa > all.other convenience stores...
and yes, Iowans, that includes Caseys
They do brunch on Sundays. The biscuits and gravy are pretty fantastic.
People have weird expectations from restaurants that are popular. If they have any hype at all it seems like if it isn't the greatest thing they've ever had in their life it somehow doesn't live up to the hype or whatever. There are also the types (not saying you) that will crap on anything that is popular because that somehow makes them better in their own minds. Strange phenomenon.
I'm not a big fan of the tortilla they use for their tacos at TP, but that's about my only knock on the place.
They're both restaurants that are unique, execute their preparations well, and offer something different than your standard fare. People need to temper their expectations a bit and just enjoy things for what they are.

Haven't eaten a Hardee's burger in years...ever since I found a hair in mine.Is it better than a thick burger from Hardees?
Problem with the fries is that they tend to be soggy and there really isn't consistency across franchises. I've had one good order of fries from there and many bad ones. I've had them in a number of cities when I travelled for work.Average joint. Bag o fries is quite enchanting I reckon.
Meh, let me know when they get a Potbellys.

Yes but the psychological damage stays with you...That can happen anywhere, brah.
