As far as I understand ... we don't have a chance to land him.

However, just thought that I'd mention (since folks are talking up DeJean's prowess) ... as a junior linebacker recruit, Jackson just one state in the 100 meter (in 10.57 s).

Pretty impressive time for a bigger LB-type.

Iowa just can't get those kind of guys; with all the development the staff does one would think that high star players would give Iowa a serious look due to our NFL pipeline.

I wonder what this staff could do with 2-3 years of top 5 recruiting classes...

Agree entirely, but want to play devils advocate. Iowa has seen a number of those guys not buy into the program (Brown, Proctor (LOL), Labas, Bruce, Johnson) I wonder if this is what the staff thinks.
