Did anyone hear what happened with Cmac and the Indiana bench right before halftime? SIAP

That was 32 years ago. Lol
So? Barta just gave the football guy, KF, a contract extension that would take him through at least 30 years as head coach at Iowa. THIRTY YEARS! For a guy who, not long ago, said he wouldn't be one of those guys who just kept on coaching forever. LOL

I guess $7 mil per, and a lifetime appointment for your son, is just too great a gig to pass up. I suppose Raftery has his own logic.

KF generates revenue. Raferty is a talking head.

Between tip off and end of game coaches should not be allowed to have conversations with an official unless the opposing coaching staff is present,... We can call it the Izzo rule.
I agree with this poster. Tom Izzo is a very good coach. That being said, he is constantly in the refs ear all game long, the tighter the game the more he bends their ear. I would love to see a TV crew concentrate one camera and mic Izzo up like was done with Matt Painter in Fridays game of Purdue vs Nebraska on 1/14/22.

That is definitely a case where announcers in arena would help. Just looking at the video, it appears Conor notices Woodson talking to the ref after horn has sounded. About what, none of us know. Maybe he asked him if he's ever had Wig And Pen pizza?
Not uncommon for a coach to try and get in a ref's ear about something they didn't like at halftime that they don't want to continue in the second half. I'm not sure where Conor thinks it's his place to go get involved in that conversation, unless they are talking about him specifically (no idea if they were).

Basically if you are pre-disposed to think of CMac as a good/valuable player, you think he's "showing toughness" or whatever. I'm not sure how getting into a scrum with the Indiana bench for no discernable reason is toughness, but to each their own.
And to those who don't like what CMac brings to the floor when he plays, it confirms their priors.
So what you're saying is it's okay for Woodson to talk to the ref but Connor isn't allow too? :)

I'd like to get KF's honest opinion on how the McCafferys conduct themselves, I'm guessing Kirk would have booted CMac years ago. Luckily for Connor he has light skin, no corn rows, and doesn't play for the other team or he'd probably be getting called "thug" instead of "tough" by many on this board
Instead of “tough”, you should have used “punk.” That was heavily used when the incident happened in the game thread and is at least a worthwhile comparison.
