Did Bush Sr plan to assassinate Reagan?

Actually Hoss, you were talking to me, as posts #41, 69, 85 and 86 clearly demonstrate. What's with the Rubio defense repetitively insinuating HP and I are 1? Is your teleprompter stuck?

I'm not switching topics to Kennedy. I'm illustrating a point to take down your ridiculous statements re: loyalty to the VP over Reagan. Reagan was never accepted by the Brahmins that run this country. Bush is the Patriarch of the Eastern establishment. Andover, Yale, generational Skull & Bonesman, CIA Dir. (also a S&B creation). To believe the VP, Bush, could not be protected, is to forever remain a child.

I point out the Katzenbach memo because it screamed cover-up when JFK was taken out. Since you won't answer my question, I guess I'll have to write it.

MEMORANDUM FOR MR. MOYERS

It is important that all of the facts surrounding President Kennedy's Assassination be made public in a way which will satisfy people in the United States and abroad that all the facts have been told and that a statement to this effect be made now.

1. The public must be satisfied that Oswald was the assassin; that he did not have confederates who are still at large; and that the evidence was such that he would have been convicted at trial.

We need something to head off public speculation or Congressional hearings of the wrong sort.

This is what's referred to as a smoking cannon.
I didn't mean that I have never talked to you, I meant that when I asked again for proof of Bush's attempt on Reagan's life, I was directing that request at Prime who has repeatedly said that such proof exists, but refuses to provide it.

Maybe there is a conspiracy in JFK's case, I don't know, but that memo certainly isn't a smoking gun or cannon. With only a basic understanding of how things work in the disgusting world of PR, it's pretty clear that the goal of the memo was to curb the potential of mass hysteria. Yes, our government lies to us, in many ways and for many reasons. One is so people don't lose their collective minds and go hysterical. Certainly we don't know the whole truth, but that doesn't mean it was necessarily an inside job.

Suggesting that Bush could have been behind the Reagan attack because of... whatever, scary societies, means very little. It makes no sense logically and there is no evidence other than wild speculation. You guys are cuckoo birds.

NO. Except the part where you said you only had a basic understanding of how things work. For that, I commend your honesty and accuracy.

Katzenbach was the Deputy Atty. General writing 3 days after the coup de tat. He wasn't interested at all in the truth. LHO was the patsy set up to take the fall and the public had to be convinced BEFORE a proper investigation could be conducted. Even Gerald Posner, who wrote the Establishment's definitive book, Case Closed, admitted that if LHO was defended by Mark Lane, he would not have been convicted. If Posner believes that, then he and others can't keep running around saying he was guilty. That's why LHO was eliminated, because the people would be certain that the killer was still at large.

The Big Lie Begins

It's important to understand that from the very beginning, officials of our governtment did not want a true investigation and made every attempt to "make the public satisfied that Oswald was the assassin."

There may be no other document that makes it more clear that there was no interest in a true investigation by the highest federal authorities and it was issued just days after the assassination. A memo prepared by Walter Jenkins reflects his conversation with J. Edgar Hoover where Hoover makes this telling statement:

"The thing I am most concerned about, and Mr. Katzenbach, is having something issued so that they can convince the public that Oswald is the real assassin."

This conversation occured on November 24, 1963, one day prior to Katzenbach's memo below. Meanwhile, Hoover himself wrote a glaring similar memo on the same day that reads:

"The thing I am most concerned about, and SO IS Mr. Katzenbach, is having something issued so that WE can convince the pubic that Oswald is the real assassin." (HSCA, vol 3, pp 471-473. This memo was apparently prepared by Hoover at 4 pm.)

A third memo written by the FBI's Courtney Evans on November 26th mentions that Hoover himself drafted the Katzenbach memo. (North, "Act of Treason")

"With only a basic understanding of how things work in the disgustingworld of PR, it's pretty clear that the goal of the memo was to curb the potential of mass hysteria."

It's really quite a skill to master control of what's makes it into your ears to ensure your narrative is always confirmed. Public Relations. PR. They don't want a public investigation. They don't want mass hysteria. This memo is absolutely about manipulating the general public into buying an official story. It's a monumental leap to then assume that those having these conversations that they believed to be private were complicit in assassinating the President. Perhaps they prefer the public think that they failed at the hands of a lone gunman acting alone as opposed to a successful plot perpetrated by their communist enemies.

Perhaps it was an inside job perpetrated by forces within our borders, but if it is, we don't know this because of these memos. They could feasibly be doing public relations damage control.

Corporations do it all the time. They investigate the truth but do everything they can to control the narrative released to the public and strive for the least damaging story the public will buy.

I know you'll ignore this last statement... I'm not saying there wasn't a JFK conspiracy! I'm just saying this single component isn't the smoking cannon you claim it is.

No...that is all confirmed here in these videos by Doug Horne, who served on the staff of the Assassination Records Review Board.

50 years later and the CIA still has not released millions of documents claiming national security. To this day, they still will not release LHO tax records. Why is that a matter of national security? Because then a paper trail will detail how he made a living OR more importantly, who paid him. Oswald, a Marine at the height of the Cold War, decides to jump ship and go Commie. By the way, what enlisted man is taught Russian and then welcomed with open arms by the State Dept. when he decides to come back home. His CIA handler, George de Morenschildt, 'commits suicide' the morning he was to appear before a Senate hearing. Hey Bartender, I'll have what Raglefant is drinking!

Or, you can just watch this video to see the man in the front seat of the car trailing JFK's car order the 2 SS men to stand down off the car of POTUS as they enter the kill zone, so the shooter(S) can get a clear shot.
