Did he kill her?

So you are stating whether he killed her, didn’t kill her, or killed her in self defense his best option was to leave her, drive immediately back home, not file a missing police report, hire a lawyer and give no information to help police find the love of his life. He has the chance to avoid prison just by lack of evidence and the gap in time period. However with video cameras everywhere, gps locations and phone data he is likely toast. If this was self defense after the last police report if he had immediately called the police based on the previous report it would have actually helped him And he may have gotten completely off. His behavior since Augusta 28th has been truly bizarre.
His best course of action is to not talk with the police or the family. Him running like he apparently has done sure doesn't help him

Of course it is possible one of the internet Twitter detectives grabbed him and bad things are being done to him right now.

After just a shade under 4 weeks, the best investigator can hope for is he buried her to protect her body from the elements and animals, others wolves grizzlies or other carnivores and insects have done their natural process. Otherwise bone and bone fragments is all that is going to be left. An autopsy likely won’t show a cause of death.

You don’t even know she’s dead

You don’t even know she’s dead

Look the probabilties she is alive is what, 10%, 5%, 1%, less than 1%? There have been no signs of life of her in 24 days. She would have had minimal resources and minimal connections in the area. The one friend she knew in the area that she was supposed to meet up with, she never showed up. Brian on the other hand has resources and is hiding in an area he likely knows like the back of his hand. Just like in the Molly Tibet’s case, you hope for the best but the realities are she is likely no longer living. Your best hope is a Sherri Papini type situation. In that case she was gone for 22 days, claims she was abducted by 2 women but had male DNA found on her body.

He has already been found guilty in the court of public opinion and the longer he stays quiet, even if that's the smart thing to do, the more people will come to their own conclusions.
And people's own conclusions do not matter unless they are on the jury.

So, unless he’s some kind of a serious survivalist he committed suicide in this nature reserve, or that was a ruse and someone set him up in a hidey hole, right?

Appears a body was found, there have been 3 people that have gone missing this year so will have to wait for an update.

Yep…the family has been completely uncooperative and now they freely give up that “he took his backpack and said he was going to the preserve”…they have to look into it as it is the only lead they have, but it sure doesn’t seem to be consistent with their unwillingness to share information.

Got a body. That's enough to arrest him now. If he didn't off himself or get eaten by a gator, he's ****ed.

True but the potential jurors aren't living in a vacuum.
Understood, but it would have been damn near impossible for a jury to convict. Even if they did, the judge would have tossed it (based on the info that we knew from the news). All of that is moot now that there is a body. Tragic situation.

I got mad at my girlfriend on a trip. Said some mean stuff, but never really thought of physically harming her. I dont understand that.

Also, the Murdaugh case is more entertaining.

Maybe it’s been asked, but what’s the word in Florida on the kids and his family? Any of you Noles hear if they have the money to hide him out of the country?

Don’t know personally, but North Port has always seemed kind of trashy to me and the pics of the house his parents live in look like a dump.

The Tampa news stations have been live streaming for hours at a time on FB all week. They were speculating all kinds of things this evening after the FBI press conference, but they don't know.

What is known is that the North Port police chief said they knew where he was and that they were watching him. Then two hours later they said he was a missing person.

My guess, is that someone is hiding him and that the family sent the police into the swamp on a wild goose chase.

There are places in this country that you can disappear into.

Bob Marshall wilderness area in Montana for example.

I wonder if the family bank account has a big withdraw. Something tells me they covered for him long enough to get out of the country
