I’d rather save him for northwestern Don’t think Utah State is as good as they usually are this year.
and he played 12 year(?) in the league.... he is/was a stud!Bobby was a clutch player and a better athlete than people thought. He also was an excellent ball handler/passer. When he was a freshman there were a couple of occasions after Ronnie got hurt and Arnold was fighting off injuries that Bobby stepped in and played the point guard and did a very good job.
Tadjo good enough to take minutes from Koch or Delembele Kinda obvious Seydou has passed Delembele
Just would be nice to get more athleticism on the floor. Don’t have much faith in Delembee guarding anything other than Centers right now.. Seems a step slow or unsure of himself.I don’t see Tadjo being a meaningful contributor this year but I think he’ll end up being a good player

How many games can you play before you don’t qualify. Although with the concussion probably get exemption.Red Shirt
Freeman has got to get over the trash talking and flexing he does after he makes a play. He is going to continue to pick up cheap fouls this way and will ultimately hurt the team. Time to grow up, son!Watching the game, you could see something was wrong with Josh. I didn't see anything happen, and thought maybe he was sick. Add in that Payton and Pryce couldn't hit a shot and Freeman sat for much of the first half, and this was a very good win. Thelwell needs more minutes than Harding, who still can be a valuable part of the rotation.
Utah State looks to be much better than Northwestern and is easily the best team Iowa has faced so far this year. Be fortunate to get the win.I’d rather save him for northwestern Don’t think Utah State is as good as they usually are this year.

I was probably confusing them with another mountain west team. Yeah they’ve been good the last couple years.I think they are tougher than you think.

Josh wasn’t very aggressive last night. Dembele is another guy who isn’t aggressive offensively.
I think he got popped in the noseJosh wasn’t very aggressive last night. Dembele is another guy who isn’t aggressive offensively.
The play where Dembele got the ball 5 feet from the basket with a clear path to the rim and somehow ended up settling for an awkward fadeaway was pretty damning. Not sure if Dembele’s playing hurt or what, but if they want to keeping using Traore as a spark off the bench, I think they’d get more out of Koch as a starter than Dembele.Josh wasn’t very aggressive last night. I don't think Ladji has a high basketball IQ. Seems to be lost out thereI’m not so completely down on Ladji. I think he sets pretty good screens and his shot is decent but and this is glaring. He needs to rebound like his life depends on it. Same with Chris Tadjo if he ever gets on the court. Freeman needs big time help rebounding
