Do you think Biden will win?

I suspect that Trump will win re-election despite the fake, suppression polls suggesting otherwise - and it will be a larger margin than most think.

The only (or about the only) three polls that correctly called the 2016 election (Trafalger, InsiderAdvantage, and Helmut-Norpoth) all have Trump winning re-election in 2020.

That being said, IMO both the Dems or Reps will contest the election and it will be decided by SCOTUS unless it’s a total landslide one way or the other. Alito already stated in a recent SCOTUS election ruling that SCOTUS has the authority to settle Federal elections even if a given state objects. That is why the ACB appointment was huge and the real reason the Dems are so upset. SCOTUS now has 5 solid conservative, textualists (Roberts is a wildcard, swing vote) on the court now that will likely side discount fraudulent mail in ballots.

I think Biden will win the popular vote easily and on election night he’ll be well ahead in the EC.

Trump, wanting to unify the country after a divisive campaign, will gracefully concede, promise a smooth transition and pledge that over the next three months he will do everything in his power to help battle the pandemic.

What are fake suppression polls?

Oh you know... ABC, Quinnipiac, NYT, Siena, WaPo. Won’t work though, it didn’t last time and it won’t this time either.

Nobody should believe the media anymore. They’ve lost all credibility.

I may be wrong but I really think Trump wins this.

Which is good, because you know I kinda like Capitalism, low taxes, strong job market and middle class, prosperity, and personal freedoms - but hey, that’s me...

I see. You're paranoid. Good luck with that.

Right now I’m 65-35 Biden. I don’t see how the polls can be this wrong after they adjusted from 2016. They were spot on in the midterms.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^This. And if internal polling gave any concerns to the Dems, Harris wouldn't be spending time in Texas. They view Texas as a bonus, imo.

It's not impossible, but expecting Trump to win all 8-10 "battleground" States would be quite remarkable.

I don't see it.

I think America is better than this. I think Biden will win. I think Trump will NOT concede until he has no choice. He will be the biggest cry baby sore loser of all time (come on people what have you been watching for the last 4 years????? You know this will be true).

What encourages me is the voting in Texas. I have a strange feeling Texas seals it for Biden!

It’s impossible not to come to those conclusions when you read the 110 page, Democratic, socialist manifesto constructed by Bernie Saunders, AOC, etc. to realize there is literally nothing I agree with.

Open borders, illegal immigrants get free health care and legal services at tax payer expense, jobs shipped back to China and elsewhere crippling the middle class, higher taxes, etc,

No thanks!

I disagree. I think if anything pollsters might be overcompensating in favor of Trump to avoid the perceived embarrassment of 2016.

I am pretty confident Biden is going to destroy Trump. He will win back the upper Midwest, Florida, Georgia and Arizona. And he is going to make a serious run at Texas.

I agree. I think Biden flips all those states and North Carolina. I even think he has a shot in Iowa.

Texas will stay red.

Weird I thought Biden was running for president not Bernie or AOC. I find it funny conservatives are soooo scared of the big bad radical left. It's all scare tactics. None of those things you mentioned are going to happen under a Biden presidency. But I get why the weak minded would fall for it. You notice Republicans don't have anything they are running on just begging voters to not fall for the super scary "liberal agenda" It appears you did.

Biden wins easily.....bet the farm.

And there will be no attempt by Trump to contest the results. Honestly, some of you are just ridiculous.
I tend to agree with this.

I also would not be shocked to see Texas flip. Read today that the Houston metro alone has cast 15 percent of the ENTIRE state’s 2016 vote total. It’s already surpassed the total number of votes cast in that county in 2016.

I'm confident Biden will win and Trump will claim voter fraud. I'm equally confident that if Trump wins, you won't hear a peep out of him about voting irregularities. The fraud will only occur if he loses.

Don't worry, if Trump wins your Democrat comrades will be rioting in several cities minutes after it's called.

Biden will probably have 5-7 million more votes. Not sure it translates to the EC. But I have no doubt the SCOTUS will be brought into the fold unless it’s landslide territory.

By every metric, it shouldn’t be close. But I have too much PTSD from ‘16.

That area is a big reason why, but Texas early vote turnout has exceeded their 2016 turnout already. I think they still go Trump but by a concerning margin for Republicans.

This assumes everyone registered as a Republican is voting for 45*. That assumption would be wrong as there are a significant amount of defections to Biden this election cycle.

I'm sure 100% of Democrats are voting Biden though, right?

Well not 100%. My wife is still a registered Democrat and voted Trump.

I’ve fallen for nothing. I’m a long-term conservative for many years. I’ve honestly seen never seen anything as radical as the stated Democratic platform this year.

The stated Democratic platform on the Biden-Harris (or should I say Harris-Biden as both have let slip) website is generally what I described above and now below. Anybody who thinks Biden will not be pushed to the far left is in total denial.

Repeal of Trump tax cuts impacting 80% of all tax brackets, increase in capital gains tax, reduction of estate tax exemption from ~$11.5M to ~$5,4M (or so, going from memory), increase in corporate taxes, a $4.1T (which most serious economists say will be much higher) unrealistic environmental green new deal (CA brown outs throughout the country anybody?), open borders, citizenship to illegal immigrants regardless of criminal background, defunding reallocating the police, cashless bail, etc. Again, it’s all on their web site.

Not to mention the fundamental government structural changes the Democrats are talking about - ending the senate filibuster, court packing, adding DC and Puerto Rico as states, abolishing the electoral college, lowering the voting age to 16, illegal immigrants allowed to vote.

Trump is running on his record - lowest unemployment / highest employment for all socio-economic stratifications, first administration in 39 years not to get in a foreign war resulting in 3 Nobel Peace Nominations (and he’s earned his), average household increase of $6,500 (or so, going from memory) in just 3 years, all time highs on the stock market, massive increase in manufacturing jobs in the U.S., criminal justice reform, creation of opportunity zones, historical funding of HBCU’s, judicial appointments, etc. I could go on and on... All substantial improvements over the Obama-Biden administration.

It’s actually the Democrats who are not running on their stated platform with their only talking points involve bashing Trump.

Sorry for the long read. Might be worth it if it changes one vote.

Changed my vote.
Not!

I think the better question is who will be sworn in in January. I believe that will be Trump. I also believe the Democrats get control of the senate and that will not be good for Trump.
