Petras didnt get hurt in 2020. He got better as the season went along and the pass protection got better.

He only played about 6-8 games because of the covid schedule and Mich and maybe one other team had to cancel games. The hawks I think were 6-2 that year winning their last 6

I have a suspicion this board wouldn’t be all in on a QB who went 0 TDs and 5 ints in a month if Iowa had played the Chiefs, Ravens, and Packers.

There was a guy in front of me yesterday who wanted Sully pulled after he went three and out in his first series.

Same for Iowa. Iowa hasn’t had a healthy quarterback since Stanley last a full 12 game season.
2020- Petras played maybe the six or seven games.
2021 - Petras got hurt and missed like four games starting with Northwestern
2022- Petras injured himself towards the end of the season. Shoulder I think.
2023 - Cade and Deacon.
2024 - Supposedly Cade again.

Petras started every game in 2020, but it was just an eight-game season.

I would give my left arm to have Dylan Raiola at Iowa. He’s already played better than any Iowa quarterback that has started a football game since 2020. I think that’s four guys.

Strong fight from the Huskers today, don't get me wrong, but that kid just went 0-for-October on scoring any touchdowns. 0 TDs, 5 INT, 9 sacks.

I get why you go through this with him now. But that kid is very much a KID out there.

Yet still better than any Hawk qb since Stanley ... Stanley was a cool qb imagine if he played for Michigan or PennSt or OSU. Guy would had been a legend.
