eight losing seasons in a row, so winning one extra game to 6-6 is trending in the right direction? We have been playing backup QBs and now a 4th stringer and STILL beat those trending fighting debbies with that 5 star awesome Ravioli.

I have observed most of the year - and there typically wasn’t a Nebraska thread on the front page but maybe a few times. Spring, little bit in the summer, then once season got underway to compare records.
I think why you’re seeing the massive uptick in chatter lately is -
1. The game ended in another tight finish.
2. Iowa fans endured maybe the strongest offseason of Nebraska fans telling them ‘they’re coming’, ‘tick-tock’, ‘iowa offense is garbage, we have Raiola’, etc.
A big amount of frustration & “gotchya” is being seen at the moment from Iowa fans.
After another off season national Championship run by Debbie, I get extra enjoyment from a heart wrenching last second victory.
Wait until next year with their cupcake non conference games and a five game home stretch to start the season.

We have the 3rd toughest schedule in the Big. Debbie has the 18th toughest schedule. They may get a bowl game again.

And therein lies the problem. That’s a Big Ten West mindset. Already making an excuse for our schedule next year. How about this year, with our literal cake walk of a schedule? This year is still on Brian and Kirk. We haven’t been able to compete against a Top 25 in 3 and a half years. Nebraska is still awful but they are trending much better than we are.

So you see a team going 3-6 in conference and losing 5 out of its last 6 games as trending much better than a team that went 6-3 and won 4 of 5 to finish the season? Is that some kind of new math they're teaching nowadays?

Again a Big Ten West mindset. We beat four below average big ten football teams to finish the season. Who cares?!? Nebraska got beat by two college football playoff teams, two California schools that would or did beat Iowa, and then lost to Iowa. I guarantee Nebraska has more wins than us next season.
Big deal. Nebraska lost to UCLA at home. Iowa lost to UCLA by 2 on the road. Nebraska lost to Iowa and a Minnesota team that Iowa dominated on the road. Record is all that matters. You probably guaranteed the same thing last year and they shit the bed again.
