Im sorry I would take a 1-2 star RB out of Texas over any 3-4 star RB out of Iowa, Nebbie, and other Midwest states. Simply because of the level of talent they play against in HS. I am not saying all midwest kids are not good, but majority of the players that come out of Texas are legit Div 1 players. They play against other Div 1 players week in and week out. They are battled tested for the college game.
Iowa has slowly increased its number of Div 1 players and they are getting better. But still if you can get a "top talent" out of the state of Texas, thats an amazing accomplishment and its a good get for your team. Highlight films are just that, highlight films. I mean you could put together an 8man player highlight film and I am sure it would look similar to an 11 player highlight film. The difference is the level of competition and that's where ENO has a HUGE advantage. He isn't playing 8 man football vs Elk horn kimbelton, he is going against some of LARGE schools in Texas. I am pumped to watch him in the black n gold!
Also hope he keeps pushing Iowa to the other Texas recruits!
