ESPN has new bowl projections up

ND is a paper tiger and you know it. Play an impressive game and come back and talk to us. On second thought, just get the hell out of here and go back to your loser domer friends. You don't belong on a top 5 board.
Impressive game? You're pumping your chest for a win over Northwestern, and a loss to MSU? Really?

Wow, one good year and you think you're all that. When was the last time you won your conference?

I was actually hoping that we got to play Iowa. I think it would have been a good game. Although, you have not seenfens
Did ND play Florida St or UNC? I know they played Clemson but the ACC teams that ND played outside of Clemson were not that good. ND played Stanford who lost to NW who we beat. I would take the win over Wisconsin on the road over the win ND had against Navy. Same goes with Pitt over Temple.
So with your logic, you should beat Stanford, no and if's or buts right?

ND played 5 top 25 teams (2 in the top 10). ND beat three of them. Iowa played two, lost one. ND SOS wins. Do you even follow college football? Enjoy being Stanford whipping boy. See you after the Rose bowl lol.

Who were those 3 wins? Why is it SO HARD FOR YOU? Are they currently in the top 25 or were they overrated sh!t teams, just like ND?

When was the last time you won your conference? What's that? You're too chicken sh!t to join one? Oh, I guess you don't have a right to an opinion with your sub conference level team. Maybe you guys should join the FCS so they don't report when your coach gets innocent kid killed?

That depends on which poll you look at. The one you are looking at ranks USC at #25, but USC is unranked in both coaches and AP polls now). And in both of those polls Wisconsin is still ranked whereas they aren't in the poll you are looking at. For a more balanced look at the ranked teams (and the ones picking up votes in polls), here are the games that Iowa and Notre Dame both played that have votes in all of the different polls.

Iowa
3 - beat unranked (AP unranked, coaches unranked - #40) Pittsburgh (home game)
5 - beat unranked (AP - #23, coaches - #23) Wisconsin (road game)
7 - beat #13 (AP - #12, coaches #12) Northwestern (road game)
13 - lost to #3 (AP - #3, coaches #4) MSU 16-13 (neutral site)

Notre Dame
5 - lost to #1 (AP #1, coaches #1) Clemson 24-22 (road game)
6 - beat #21 (AP #21, coaches #22) Navy 41-24 (home game)
7 - beat #25 (AP unranked - #27, coaches unranked - #27) USC 41-31 (home game)
8 - beat #24 (AP #24, coaches #24) Temple 42-30 (road game)
9 - beat unranked (AP unranked, coaches unranked - #40) Pittsburgh (road game)
12 - lost to #6 (AP #5, coaches #6) Stanford 38-36 (road game)

Note when looking at this that Iowa is 1-1 against top 20 teams in all of the polls, and Notre Dame is 0-2 against top 20 teams in all of the polls.

If you add in #21-25 and those receiving votes in AP and coaches polls then it is...
Iowa 3-1, Notre Dame 4-2

Just trying to bring a bit of reality to your post here that tries to make a bit more out of the real numbers than really exists. And as people have noted, #13 Northwestern that Iowa beat beat #6 Stanford, which is the only top 20 team besides Clemson that Notre Dame has played.

What ever stats I quoted were correct when I quoted them. It was to show ND's SOS was much stronger. You can spin it however you want. Facts are facts ND SOS = (now) 20 Iowa =57 http://www.usatoday.com/sports/ncaaf/sagarin/

As far as your subjective comparisons any one can do that. Watch this!
Notre Dame > Navy > Memphis > Ole Miss > Alabama
See how that works LOL!!

Good luck against Stanford, you're gonna need it. I'll be back to console you lol.
