As info leaks out, let's centralize what we're hearing and let the rampant speculation begin!

I'm not going to try to figure out how to link it, but will quote from twitter...

"Coach plans on shortening the rotations for each of the 4 games. Baer, Cook, Kriener, C-Will are fit for duty but not expected to play today" - Matt Weitzel

"Iowa will play four games in Europe starting today. The plan is to rotate starting lineups and have each scholarship player play 3+ games." - Iowa Basketball

I wonder if this is the first step for finding pairs/triples that fit well in the 3, 4, 5 "positions" together or if it is just random draw for who sits today? I think Kriener was likely to sit the first game if he's seeing any lingering issues with the back, but from what has been reported he's been practicing.

As Pemsl wasn't mentioned, does anyone have confirmation if he is going to play? I know there were questions about his availability.

Based off the players they're leaving off this should be their rotation today.

Bohannon McCaffery
Moss Ellingson
Wagner Dailey
Uhl Nunge
Garza Pemsl

In the last interviews before they left, Pemsl didn't know if he would be allowed to play. My guess would be the uncertainty means it's a "no". The games are happening within about a week of the interview, and if he hasn't been told he'll be playing he probably won't IMO.

Cook wasn't scheduled to play, but with Game 1 expected to be toughest, Fran may have shuffled things around. Still says each guy will start a game and each will sit out a game in Europe.

Unexpected pleasure to watch some Hawkeyes basketball. When they get acclimated it will be fun watching Iowa's bigs this year. I think it will eventually be great theatre watching Cook, Pemsl, Garza, Nunge, Kreiner and even Uhl working inside and stretching defenses if opponents don't follow them outside.

Heard that everybody will sit out one game, so Daily, Williams, Kreiner (maybe Pemsl) out today and play the rest.

Already you can see the benefit of having a big guy in the middle when Luka is in the game. Protects the rim and gathers every rebound. Scores the ball too.

By the way would like to send a shout out to whomever claimed there would be no live stream.

So they were only up 2 at half, but go on to win by 34? Against what was expected to be their toughest opponent? They must have put on a clinic the second half.

If this was the best opponent of the trip, then the Prime Time league teams were more of a challenge than these opponents overseas. I watched essentially the 3rd Qtr and the German 'All Star' team brought in a guy that appeared to be a balding 5'5 and 230lb point guard that may or may not be 40 years old.

I get the trip is more about the experience than the opponents, but Barta really went above and beyond with this schedule :)

Yea they did put on a clinic. Brady came in and scored a quick 8 points to put us up 12 and we didn't look back. We played really fast and were making shots. Got a little sloppy for a bit but I guess that happens when you're up 20 in the 4th qtr. My favorite part was the JoBo off the backboard assist to Dom for the dunk!

I missed the first half when Brady shot 0-5 but what i saw in the 2nd is a kid that will play a lot of minutes for this team considering our depth at the 1/2. He's our best sub for either JoBo or Moss. Makes shooting look easy and has a sneaky way of driving to the basket. Will be a solid contributer.

Garza and Nunge did not impress me with there long distance shooting. Think they will need to keep working on that part of their game.

Enjoyed watching Connor run the point. Thought he did a decent job.

That balding guy was actually pretty good.
