Why does it have to mean either one of these? The medicare component of the inflation reduction act allows for Medicare insurers to negotiate drug prices. What's wrong with that?

Trump's order was prevented from going into effect by a court order so Trump's order was essentially meaningless.

So Biden created a new order that apparently pass court muster.

I think this still proves Trump intends on making prescription drugs more affordable. He attempted to decrease prices in the past, and will do so in the future. There are a lot of politics at play, dems are pretending Trump doesn't want affordable drugs. That simply isn't true.

I don't have all the answers as to what Trump will do, but i don't believe the extreme rhetoric from the left either. I will take a wait and see approach.

Here is the thing, no one knows what Trump's going to do when it comes to any policy other than immigration and tariffs. He's completely unpredictable and his overriding concern seems to be mostly focused on personal loyalty, revenge, and people who praise him. Outside of that he doesn't care and never has.

Immigration and tariffs are the only two issues he cares heavily about.

Which explains why the guy who ran on "bringing down the cost of groceries" has done nothing but talk about renaming shit, annexing territory, and going after the illegals since election day.

Trump is going a different direction in how he will address the issue. Bidens order included several unproven pilot projects. It is possible Trump did not want to continue spending time and money on these programs when he knew he was not keeping them long term.

If Trump comes up with an alternative way to lower prices, I will praise him. If he doesn't, then i will criticize him. It doesn't make any sense over reacting to a headline without knowing more details.

you can always tell when someone is serious about reforming something because they take away all existing reforms as soon as they possibly can and have no immediate time table or statements about replacing those reforms
