From what I saw, they didn't fact check context, e.g., he said "bloodbath", it's the context that is debatable. Conversely, when Trump flat out said non-factual statements, he was instantly called out on it. Had Kamala done that, they'd have been prepared for it.

That's a tough one. We saw Biden look bad in his debate, but he's also looked good plenty more times. Without any actual diagnosis, it would be wrong to ask a question that presumes that he would be diagnosed with cognitive decline.
