The problem is, like yourself, many Democrats live in an echo chamber. You wouldn’t even know when a Democrat is lying and the media won’t cover it either. Harris brought up many debunked claims and lied many times throughout.
Trump's only triumph was the massive tax cut for the rich and corporations. As responsible economists told us then, that level of stimulus was totally inappropriate during a cycle of strong growth - and would produce both inflation and deficits.
Check and check.
Yet your side wants to give him credit for that bad decision.
If Trump and Republicans were even slightly fiscally responsible, they would have used the growing economy and rising revenues to eliminate the deficit and maybe even - gasp! - pay a little down on the national debt.
How can people possibly be blind to this horrible behavior by Trump and the Republicans?
1.9% inflation under Trump and his deficit was largely due to covid,... un-check and un-check.

You are correct to say that Trump's worst deficit year was due to the pandemic. But deficits rose every year under Trump. So the check stays. Meanwhile, inflation and interest rates were being artificially held low by the Fed. So you don't get to uncheck that one.

Trump’s success with inflation was nothing more than his timing. He was relieved of his duty before folks went back to work, before the supply chains collapsed and before more free money was kicked loose into the economy. Timing, my friend….certainly not leadership or ideas. Sometimes politics like golf, it is better to be lucky than good.
Biden plays the same game with job creation,.. Without a pandemic and his self generated expansion of government, his real job creation numbers are middle of the road...
