Fani Willis.

Can you explain this crap?
The crap is having a relationship that leads to conflict of interest issues in cases that are being tried, to be tried or defendants to be charged. The notion of impropriety is enough and in this instance, the bigger issue is the possible use to tax payer funds to keep your lover happy or to use it for vacations etc. It's just not good. Period.

Not a good look but a lot of people working together are in relationships. Has Trump's side proven that there was quid pro quo? That he only got the job because they dated? That he's not qualified? That there was an improper exchange of monetary value? I haven't paid super close attention but I haven't read any bombshells about these things.

1. Are we sure she actually passed the necessary requirements to become an attorney?
2. She killed DEI based hiring today. Good riddance,
3. She probably will need to spend a little time in jail.

After today she clearly isn't remotely qualified.

At one point she admitted to taking campaign funds and keeping them, I'm fairly sure that a felony, right?
Chis, if you think anything Fani did today is going to go well for her you are already in the bottle.

"It's totally normal" is an interesting but unsurprising take, huey.

Proof of her misusing public or campaign funds?
I don't have any. That's why trials exist but if she's the person in charge, charging defendants in the state, she needs to step aside and recuse herself when she's the one under investigation. That's the purpose of the hearing. The charges against the defendants aren't being dismissed. The whole point is to see whether she and her subordinate who also apparently is her lover, can proceed in this case or not or whether a fair substitute can be found. The problem is you don't want a prosecutor's office being tainted even if the charges are inherently justifiable. I abhor Trump and his losers but this is a terrible terrible look.
