Fargo-results only(hopefully...)

There are very very few high school sophomores that have a really good shot at playing in the NFL and I don’t believe Kueter is on that list of one or two. He is an extremely talented athlete and the sky is the limit in multiple sports but this is putting the cart way before the horse.
Agree. I'm not from Iowa, so how good is Kueter actually? Is he a legit D1 prospect? Sometimes there's a tendency for wrestling people to overstate wrestler's ability in their other sports. Guys like Mason Parris and Adam Coon weren't major football recruits. Would Iowa and other big ten schools be recruiting him? Doesn't make his multi-sport success any less impressive. He's obviously and incredible athlete.

Could be wrong and I'm genuinely curious. Will he be getting attention from Iowa/other big ten schools?

He will end up a DE. If he starts getting recruited by the big names for football it will be really hard to say no. Not sure how many of you on here that are talking about Ben have ever met him. For you that haven't he's the kid that you want your daughter to marry. He's very respectful, humble and coachable and will achieve whatever he put his mind to. Some kids are just different

Tight End... and agreed on everything you said about him as a human. His parents did very well raising a very respectful and well rounded young man!

Warner and Murin will still have 1 year left. For 2022/2023 season I see this line-up
125 Ayala
133 Schriever/Ybarra
141 Henson/Ybarra
149 Murin
157 Rathjen/Renya
165 Kennedy/Brands
174 Kennedy/Brands
184 Assad
197 Warner
285 Cass

This looks more accurate. I don't see Schriever or Ybarra having the horsepower to go above 133. Henson is really short, 141 seems the right fit, certainly no higher than 149. Rathjen is 157 tops without a growth spurt IMO. If PK can't make 165 we better be all over that weight. I think Tate N will be a good 184 with his frame. Kueter hopefully the future 285 solution. We will need a 197 but do have Glazier who has looked good. Voelker and Kolby Franklin have been mentioned. Franklin's resume is better at this point with the only question is can he hold 197. Hagarty is a nice looking option in the next class. I like Riggins and Rocco Welch as a possible 165. I'd like to see another 157, Garvin could be there. Obviously a guy like Shapiro would be more than welcome. I'm guessing we are very interested in Mr. Mendez in the 141/149 range.

Really starting to board the Riggins 165 of the future train. I love guys who just have a feel for getting to legs. I think there's a lot to work with there. Welsh is the bigger name right now, but maybe not for long. He's had a monster run on the backside and avenged his early loss. Could also see him being too big for 165 anyway.

But are his parents OK with people talking about their kid on the internets?

Should we start asking for permission slips for their child’s’ name to pass our fingertips?

22-23
Ayala/Cashman
Schreiver/Ybarra
Bennett/Henson (a year in the IA room could really help Drew)
Murin/Reyna
Rathjen/?
Kennedy/?
Wilson/Brands/Swafford (whoever wins here will be OK)
Assad
Warner/Glazier
Cass/Costello
Pretty good lineup for being fairly young.

I love watching freestyle but I have to admit I don't know every rule. I thought Fiser had the fall?

What happenned at the end?
Up 3-1, reattacked to an ankle with about 10 to go and crotchlifted with 1 second left to lose.

Williams threatened him from that position all match and he went back to it one too many times. I thought both guys wrestled fantastic. Low scoring, but tons of awesome exchanges.

Should add that Williams' nickname for several years has been "the iceman" because he's known for winning at the last second. Definitely has the clutch gene.

Riggins gets burned on the exact same situation. Love the attacking mindset. Can clean up that situational stuff with more experience.

Riggins had a 4-2 lead and didn't sit on it...shot in, probably his 100th (not literally) of the match and got burned. While this is tough, I do like to see that. He will finish matches in situations like that in the future plus it bodes well for folkstyle.

That one second difference between Williams getting shot clock point and Rathjen's step out point was the difference.

And Rathjen having to settle for pushouts instead of takedowns in general. Couldn't quite figure out that finish.

Kueter will keep getting better. He has a lot of room to add weight still. Making the 220 final less than 18 months from winning a high school title at 160 is pretty impressive. The match he beat Carrol was a fluke type cradle so Carrol was a favorite coming in.
