No. Actually wasn't as many Iowa fans there as I anticipated there would be. More in 2011 & 2013, imo.

I completely understand Nebby's history, but it is just that....history. Nebby has not won a conference title since 1997 and has not won a major bowl since 1999. The players in 2016 class were not even born LMAO... The last time Nebby played in a relevant bowl was 2001 were they got their ass whooped by Miami (so not sure why you are talking smack?) Since that epic smack down Iowa has won 2 conference title, played in 3 major bowls (one being just this year), won a major bowl (in 2009, not to long ago and at least in this century). Not to mention without football what does the U of Nebby have, absolutely nothing (unless you want to hang your hat on volleyball) nebby men's sports suck at everything including football now. Hell they even lost their AAU membership for not meeting academic requirements....LOL at you and all Nebby fans

Iowa is not like at all, first off Nebby is right winged conservative and Iowa is much more liberal....which is why you will find Iowa City at the top of almost every list of best college towns/cities and also top 3 every year for best party colleges in America! Have you ever noticed the best part of Nebby is their eastern border and the worst part of Iowa is our western border (no offense western border people but it is true) Have you ever driven through Nebby!!!! 2009 OB over GT? Absolutely no one cared or talked about it, nationally. Zero hype. I remember it well. Hell, Ndamukong Suh alone was getting more attention at the time in the world of CFB. Why? Because Iowa is a boring brand and that game was seen as a cripple fight.

If Iowa's 5 top 10 finishes since 2002 to Nebraska's 0 is considered mediocrity then what would you consider Nebby in recent history??? Nebraska has been ranked a few times but no higher than 14th and a couple 24th and 25th finishes. You tell me who is striving to be great and who is not. Not to mention KF has won 3 National coach of the year awards in that time.....Iowa has had 20 All Americans since 2000 and Nebby 13 (6 being in 2000 and 2001) Not to mention the current reality in which Iowa beat Nebby in Football, Basketball, Baseball, Wrestling, hell even golf LOL.....long story short WTF are you even talking about, do you honestly think you have any argument that does not have to do with the 1990's????? Iowa has a lot of good OL underclassmen and I'm sure that helped sway most of them away from Iowa. It's cyclical, no big deal.
I kinda feel sorry for Nebraska fans. I really do. The last time they were relevant in football was almost 20 years ago...when recruits and even some college players weren't even born yet.
By the way, shouldn't there be one of those red 1990's Starter coats in that trophy case too? Maybe next year you could buy one for it from one of the thousands of Nebraska fans who still wear them.
