For my taste he does a lot of talking for not winning an NCAA title.
Fair, but I'll take a world silver medal over an NCAA title.
Also, you've at least got to give Gilman credit for doing all his talking face to face. He's not a keyboard warrior.
And lastly, as Gilmans said many times, he doesn't initiate the trash talk usually. He's answering questions that the reporters ask. It sounds like in this case he was asked by the coaching staff to speak at this event. And it also sounds like he got the go ahead from the coaching staff/Gable to not stand up there and give a pc speech.
To each their own though. I can see how it's not for everybody. I haven't seen it yet either so who knows how it comes off. Presentation can be a big factor.
