First day of fall and it’s being fall here, 54 degrees and holding. Great time of year, might throw a log on just for the fun of it. Got to get a chimney sweep out next week anyway, working on the cleaning up and selling the place.

I think we had that yesterday and that’s the forecast the next week. It’s just a rainy biscuit today. Just took the dog out and am definitely smelling some chimney smoke so I’m about to burn a log.

Walked a brisk 7 miles this morning and had my first encounter with a buck on the trail. Can confirm, it is indeed fall.
