To be fair, this sort of thing happens on just about every message board. Don't act like it's just this board. You're an opposing team's fan so you're going to get a lot of resistance even if your points might be spot on.

Yes, if you do not mind checking with me since you ask, that would be perfectly fine. You don't seem to understand that I was not originally posting to you johnstown. I picked up the conversation and just simply am surprised it is not blowing up on your board. I have never been to the PSU board and no need, so I don't know. I really didn't have an issue at all with what you posted and didn't think you were trolling, you just happened to hit post reply before I hit it.
Before you started winning titles, you never posted here. Now that you have won multiple titles, you think you are bringing something to the board? We have never lacked quality on this board. They understandably are in euphoria and like a lot of dopers are paranoid of anybody blowing their high so I wasn't surprised about the cherry pick(s).

Dayum Dirk...Is it beer o clock where you are at? A few of these guys actually come over to discuss Iowa wrestling are good guys. IIRC, JTS was over here last year when they weren't going to win. Just a thought.
The quality of this board was awesome, Iowa fans talking Iowa wrestling. I guess its too difficult for PSU fans to do the same on their board.
I'm certain several of you have been following Penn State wrestling for far more than 6 years. Yet not a one of you was on this board prior to that date. Odd.

Trust me...I have my list of those dudes that when they post on here I jump their sh*t (Yes Chuckles, this includes you). But Goldbanger, Dunk, Chickenman, CaliPSU, and few others tend to come on here with respect...nothing wrong with opposing views or sticking up for their guys IMO...especially with some of the garbage that got talked by some of the end of year posters on here...PED's come to mind. Hope your beer is tasty and cold...have one for me.

I think your post is legit because you didn't come up with some excuse as to why Hall was taken down.
Your missing the point. Most HR posters "don't care what's going on in regards to Penn State wrestling". I don't believe your a troll but I don't think your honest either. It's the "opposing fans adding to the quality of our board" that smells.
I was way wrong about Meija being the heavy favorite. I did not know about the weight allowances. From watching from the quarters.. I saw Meija's double to be too difficult for Courtney to defend. When watching the two guys wrestle other opponents, it looked like Meija was bigger and stronger, but when they faced off Courtney was much bigger.

I guessed you missed my point. I am talking about wrestling discussion, and not necessarily Penn State. I like to discuss recruiting, wrestling strategy, history, etc whether it is PSU or not. I post on four different team's boards, and I must say that this is the only one where an opposing fan cannot discuss wrestling, and is asked to GTFO for no reason. Why is that? That speaks to this board and fan grouping much more than it speaks about me.
Sorry to burst your bubble but you're not going to find what you're looking for here. If you do decide to stick around,just be very vague on your opinions, agree with the majority (even if you don't), and throw in a few jabs at Cael and PSU if you can find it in yourself to do so. A few Sandusky quips wouldn't hurt either. Bottom line, know your place troll. I haven't learned mine yet but I'm getting there..
It is quite sad. I know most Iowa fans are not like this, so I guess the inmates run the asylum here. Mean spirited is probably the nicest word to describe the general nature of the board. Very disappointing to be honest. Take a bite of the candy bar guys, you'll feel better.

The thing you're failing to realize is it isn't one person or two people. If that were the case I would guess most wouldn't care, including me. That is not the case, there are a whole plethora of PSU d'bags that NOW post here. I'm not going to get into which ones are and which ones aren't, when the volume goes up its hard to separate who is and who isn't, so in that regard you're unfortunately guilty by association.
Then some of you come over here and do the "friendly" act, then go to your own board and show your true stripes. The word is Hypocrite (or pick something else).
And some of you claim you want to be here because you want to learn from different fan bases, Iowa fans are knowledgeable, yada, yada, yada. This board has been around a long time. I guess Penn State wrestling "fans" knew a whole lot about the sport for my entire lifetime, all years Iowa was kicking your ass, because there wasn't a single solitary PSU "fan" here wanting to "learn" in those days. Now that you're winning, you all want to "learn" and interact with Iowa fans. I find that extremely comical, among other things.
So a word to the wise about each "new" Penn State fan here, you're pre-dated by your "brethren", so when someone isn't all that friendly to you, it very well may not be you, but now you know why.
Stay on your own board and you probably don't have to worry about.
