All it's showing me is Maryland and Iowa aren't playing well right now. 2 straight losses for Maryland. Iowa could have very easily had 3 straight losses. If you ask me both are struggling and when you struggle you become beatable. Doesn't matter who or where you play.

It's very difficult playing on the road in the Big Ten. Absolutely. But Maryland just lost at home where they literally have never lost as a Big Ten member. Iowa nearly lost to Minnesota at home that would have gave them a 3 game losing streak. Maryland has a 2 game losing streak right now. These teams are struggling and if you can't see that "I got nothing for you". I'd love for Iowa to not be struggling and pretend like everything is just ok. But that's just not what I'm seeing, no matter who or where Iowa is playing.

Love how your getting stuck on the doesn't matter where or who you play. When your struggling it doesn't matter where or who your playing. That's what it's showing me. Not that it's so hard to beat the likes of PSU and Minnesota because they are trying their little butts off.

Completely ignore my thoughts on how these teams are playing at home. Your the one saying these teams are losing because they are on the road. Not me. Stop pretending like I'm saying that. If it's so hard to play on the road then why aren't Iowa and Maryland having success at home lately? Those should two things should correlate right?

Iowa hasn't lost a B1G at home..so I don't get where you say Iowa has not had success at home....granted we did not play our best game of the year against Minnesota.. So if U feel Iowa is struggling because they didn't beat Minnesota bad enough..so be it...I would also suggest the way Minnesota played us apparently carried over 2 tonite.

Just saying both can be true. It's difficult to win on the road and you can struggle. Both those things can be true. Iowa's struggling to me. Clearly not to you. Agree to disagree.
I hope the week off helps this team and they go get the Big Ten title. Not based on hoping other teams losing but based on them winning. I think this teams mentally tired right now and I hope the week off helps with that.

You'll see nowhere that I stated Iowa is struggling at home all year. I just believe this team is struggling right now. Lost 2 out of 3. Could have easily lost to Minnesota at home. Iowa's shot 42% against Minnesota and 41% against Penn State. Nothing more then that. Maybe I could have clarified better but the last 3 games this team is struggling if you ask me. Like I said earlier I'd love to say they aren't. I'm definitely not going debby downer right now because there are still games to be played. Iowa still has a good chance to win the Big Ten title. But I think a lot of people would agree that they have to start playing better.

Unfortunately, we also had several posters guaranteeing 17-1, then 16-2. Good news is that I don't see any threads guaranteeing 15-3, yet. Tom should delete them if the pop up.
I guarantee if they can get it done the Hawkeyes will finish 15-3! Nobody is going to make a bigger effort.
Personally, I've never thought they are the best five guys, or seven guys, or whatever on any squad in the league. But I think that for the most part they've been the better basketball team.
I have been saying that Iowa would be in great shape if they could go 15-3 and maybe even 14-4, when Iowa had 1 B1G loss. Let's see if they can snap out of their mini-funk and still get this done. I just don't understand how so many posters can be so unhappy with Iowa still in a very good position to win its first B1G championship since before most of them were born.

After Iowa lost to PSU, you started another thread to confidently predict that Maryland would not lose another game. The Terps have proceeded to lose 3 of 4 with two games remaining.
He has personally assured me (during the football season) that this is not the case.
He likes to also remind posters that he is a lifetime Iowa sports fan, that he regularly attends Hawkeye events, and last (but not least) that he has "seen this movie before".
