We all know Trump relentlessly lies, but he usually allows a vagueness to cover himself. A few days ago he claimed that a former president supported his wall, and told him it should have been built by now.
Unless he is channeling the thoughts of dead presidents, he is lying.

Well, obviously, he means GHWB,who conveniently died not so long ago and is the only deceased prez who was living during these two years of Trump lies. Yeah, he's the one. .

it's because they can't think of anything else. racist gets nowhere. banging stormy gets nowhere. liar gets nowhere when he says he will build a wall then apparently is going to stand his ground here. trump keeps doing a great job and is a wonderful president, so all his opposition can think to do is call him a liar. yeah, that will discredit him!! he is still in office and still winning. get back to us when he is not president for telling lies.

It's a strange phenomenom. Everyone knows it, but 38% of the country doesn't care.

Fortunately... in 2020 the situation will be rectified. Maybe even sooner.

I disagree with that pretty strongly. The remarkable thing about Trump is that his lies are so bald-faced. They are frequently objectively and demonstrably false -- as contrasted to a typical politician "lie" that is carefully hedged or vague. From "thousands of Muslims celebrating 9/11 in NJ" to "the NFL sent me a letter asking to change the date of our debate" to "the counter-protestors in Charlottesville didn't have a permit" he regularly tells lies that are specific and easily proven to be fiction.
