What are you talking about? I’m talking about Fran’s time with Iowa vs. Alford’s time with Iowa.Well the focus is Iowa. I don’t care about other programs.
Sure, but then there were games like blowing the doors off IU on the road stuck in the middle. That’s why it’s hard to call it a fade. Roughly .500 record with some really good wins and some inexplicable losses. It’s not just limping to the finish unless we’re just calling all losing streaks a fade.Well 5-5 record if I can count correctly since first game in Feb. I guess for a team that was flirting with top 30, top 25 votes I would say that is not a fade but very average.
The way they lost some games and to who they lost sure looked like a Fade.
Regularly beats Fran? This is a false statement.Could Iowa get Hoiberg?
the dude changed his jersey number to Chris Streets and regularly beats Fran with inferior talent
Thanks for telling us.I'm not picking Iowa to even win 1-game in NCAA tourney...that should help their chances.
...last year I really though Kansas was tough, but I had to go with Iowa to final-4. If anything, these Hawks are improving Hawkeye fan's ncaa bracket predictions this year by destroying all hope going into the ncaa tourney.
Iowa BBall facilities under Alford were embarrassing. We were fighting for practice court time with the volleyball team.Fran has done way more than Alford. Alford watched over two of the most underachieving teams in recent history(2001 and 2002 teams)(people forget that because they had a nice run in the BTT those years) and the allowed PP to play after doing what he did and then had to kick PP off the team because he did it again. The only year Alford had that was successful was 2006 the same year we lost in the first round as a 3 seed. According to most on here it only matters what you do in NCAA tourney to judge if one is a good coach. That doesn’t even take into account what an arrogant pompous human he was off the court. To even compare him to Fran is an insult to Fran.
Hoiberg at Iowa sate 4-1Regularly beats Fran? This is a false statement.
The only difference between the Indiana game and yesterday's game was we made open shots in Bloomington. Don't over think it. Iowa's defense is what it is, especially this year. A terrible awful train wreck. Not Fran but the Iowa players looked tired, they slept through most of the game, no energy, poor shooting from outside and no effort to move it into the post, they looked uninterested in the game, bored and they received what they deserved a loss. I know Fran did not have them ready the usual excuse but in my opinion the players deserved the loss. They were uninterested. As for the tourney if they play like they did at Indiana and not like they did to Nebraska and the BTT they might win a couple it is up to the PLAYERS to get themselves mentally ready and engage. On Iowa!
So is it back asking for friend
